This may be in the wrong forum however...

I got packet 3 last week and this week I'm going thru the MOUNTAIN of paperwork..and I got to form DS230 which is the biographic info

I got ONE copy of the form (one page) and I need two cos I have a K2 child..but this form is really hard to photcopy cos a. its really faint print already

and b. It says page 1 and 2 (front and back of one page) of 4..and I have only one page

Is that right?

Should I have more of it?

The example form on the forms page here shows a FOUR PAGE form..I'd print that off, if I can remove the fields already used, but I don't know if its obsolete or not (possibly not, the issue date on MY form shows 07-2004)

Anyone going thru the London Embassy got any info? :help:

Here's a link to the current form at the state department. You should only need the first two pages because Part 2 (pp 3-4) should be in package 4. Not too sure if you can send in paperwork for your K2-child, though. Shouldn't he/she receive his/her own package 3?

No don't send the photos - don't send anything except the forms they ask for which are:

DS230 part 1

DS156 - don't sign this one and do it online to get barcode. Also copy it - they want it in DUPLICATE

DS156K - this one Im not sure if we should sign or not - the form seems to want to be 'witnessed' Anyone got a definite on that one?

DS157 - IF you are MALE only

IV15 - the checklist itself - signed.

Im not 100% sure of they want the I134, affadavit of support returned with the packet 3 - I'll have to see if I can find a post on the darn thing (the reason Im not sure is cos the end of the IV15 it says 'enclosures and names the I134 yet it isnt mentioned in 'step one', which forms to return)

Thanks, Jaylen. My packet 3 arrived yesterday. I sent back the following

yesterday afternoon:

1) DS-230 Part I, signed

2) DS-156, barcoded, unsigned, in duplicate

3) DS-156K, unsigned (says it has to be signed infront of consular officer)

4) DS-157

5) IV-15, first 4 pages only, boxes ticked, signed, dated

Don't send them the I-134. Bring it to the interview along with the supporting

evidence. Just tick off the box on the checklist next to "Evidence of Support"

which lets them know you have that evidence ready (or will have by the time

of the interview).

I'm just hoping I don't have to wait months for my interview. Seems like this

process is taking the maximum possible amount of time. But I guess it could

always be worse - we could get sucked into that mouth of hell known as

"Administrative Review"! :o

Good luck!

ok cool _ thought the 156K looked like it needed to be signed in front of the consular offical but its not clear from the front of the checklist where it says which forms to return- if they just added 'do NOT sign' to that one as well it would have saved me much worrying over it - grr

lol

Thanks lots!
