Green card went to old address - WHY?

Hi everyone. My Green Card was mailed to my in-laws' house 34 days after I changed my address online (AR-11) when we moved. I called USCIS who told me they cannot verify if my address has been changed. The only way for me to know is to make an Infopass appointment and go to the field office! Has this happened to anyone? Should I just assume they have my new address? Thanks

At least you got it.

AR-11 does not change address on pending petitions, you need to call USCIS.

Also your spouse needs to file I-865 to change immigrant sponsor's address.

OUR TIME LINE Please do a timeline it helps us all, thanks.

Is now a US Citizen immigration completed Jan 12, 2012.

I did the AR-11 after arriving (ie after becoming a peranent resident) AND my wife submitted the I-865 (and received a confirmation).

sorry, I meant to say I filed the AR-11 within 10 days after moving to our new address; both our old and new addresses are in the US.
