Copy of US Citizen's Passport for K1 Interview

Been reading about what I need to bring to the K1 interview, and one thing remains a little unclear:

For those who filed I-129Fs and proved USC's Citizenship with a copy of the USC's passport (all pages), is that what might be asked for in the interview? I mean, on this forum there is a lot of talk about bringing original, certified documents to the interview but nothing (as far as I can tell) that specifically addresses this. I know it applies to the I-134 affidavit etc.

Conversely, for those cases when a birth certificate (or copies thereof) was used as proof of US citizenship, it seems that only an original birth certificate will suffice during the interview.

In one case (passport), copies will do; in another (birth certificate) only the originals will do?

There is nothing in packet 3 sent out by the US Embassy in Stockholm that leads me to believe that we need anything other than copies of the passport (since the beneficiary can hardly produce the USC's passport), but just wanted to be sure.

thanks!

I provided nothing other than the I-134 evidence and relationship bonafides. No original or copy of birth certificate, passport, nothing else because on the required documents listing nothing else other than the latter mentioned was requested from me.

I had made a copy of every single thing I had originally submitted with the K-1 form. I bound it in a tidy little package for Andre to take with him, just in case they asked. They didn't.

Life's just a crazy ride on a run away train

You can't go back for what you've missed

So make it count, hold on tight find a way to make it right

You only get one trip

So make it good, make it last 'cause it all flies by so fast

You only get one trip
