Question, can I get a Visa to Hungary along with applying for the K1?

Hello everyone,

It has been a good time period since I have posted here. I am just thinking of possible ways to be with my Fiance and I was wondering if it would cause problems for me to apply for a visa to reside in Hungary and possibly work and go to school. During that time I could wait for the K1 process to go through yet I could still be with my Fiance.

Is this possible or would the two conflict with each other?

Well due to the fact I am a college student I plan on having a co-signer. Would it still be possible?

The Hungarian authorities would have no way of knowing what's going on with you, your fiancée and USCIS; not only that, they probably wouldn't care, either. If you can meet the requirements for getting a visa to Hungary, I don't think there would be a problem.

2007-06-11: K-1 in hand

2007-07-03: arrived in USA

2007-07-21: got married, yay!

2007-07-28: applied for green card

2008-02-19: conditional green card in hand

2010-01-05: applied for removal of conditions

2010-06-14: 10-year green card in hand

2013-11-19: applied for US citizenship

2014-02-10: became a US citizen

2014-02-22: applied for US passport

2014-03-14: received US passport
