Omar can sew one for you!! Just send the material.

Back to work today so no baking, although I'm dreaming up a nice turkey pie for dinner.

The crab bisque was delicious too. 2 cans progresso tomato soup, 1 cup whipping cream, 1 c crab, 1 tsp seafood seasoning, one can green chiles chopped. Heat together to boil and then simmer 10 min.

Amal: I think Yassmine has an appt with USCIS this week too. Still trying to resolve her mess. I thought once we got them here it was going to be smooth sailing!! :o

It isn't horrible but its definitely not smooth sailing. We were there for 2 hours. they wouldn't let me go in with him. He filled out all the paperwork and when it was his turn to do fingerprints they told him that they couldn't accept his prints coz he had a paper cut on his index finger. that cut is smaller than a millimeter.... The big one on the same finger, they said was fine though....I don't get it...but they gave him a paper that will allow him to be pushed to the front of the line when he goes back ... (after the papercut is gone) argh!!!

:o Sadly it makes perfect sense that they let the bigger cut go....this is the government we are dealing with! Sorry to hear you had a rough time but hopefully you'll be able to get the prints done soon. Tell him to stay away from paper for now.

Finally get a chance to stop in and say hi to everyone. My husband and I are stranded in Houston. We came last Wednesday for Thanksgiving to see the family and as soon as we were close, the car over heated and died. We have been stranded here all week waiting for the car to be fixed. I wish we were already living here and didn't have to go back to GA. My daughter has missed a whole week of school and my boss is not happy that I am not there. Oh well! Hope everyone has a great week!

Oh I am sorry you both are sick. :( I use Ceprocol for my sore throats. Sore throats are the worst but these logenzes are my saving grace. :)

Ramy and I are sick....but I'm at work and he's at home. He just bought a car yesterday (I have to register it but it's his) so this is exciting :D. We just landed a table at the area's largest & most popular indoor flea market too for this weekend so the new car will come in handy (it's a 1994 Jeep Grand Cherokee). I can't believe how busy we still are...but now that we're back to a routine I guess it's time for us to get really sick. He had a nasty fever yesterday, and this morning I have a wicked sore throat so.....oh well.

Oh no what a nightmare! :( So you're thinking of moving to Texas? Good luck, girlie! I hope you get your car situation fixed soon! :(

Now there's an idea! Ive been knitting up a storm of baby hats and even started a matching one for Ahmed. Now they just need matching footed-sleepers! Tell Omar to get cracking on that ;)

And Im enjoying a lovely backslide into the wretched land of morning sickness. I actually had to take the day off, I felt so bad. Blech. Where's the barfing smiley?

We'll have to get online with the camera so you can show me the hats. Then I'll get some measurements and go shopping. oh yeah the size of medhi is butterball turkey. :P

frankly I LIKE the idea of matching baby and parent onesies ! I think you are on to something, I often look at what my baby is wearing and wish I had something similar (well... without the diaper...)

:P
