GOOD DAY MY FRIENDS AT VJ.....IM VERY, VERY HAPPY TO ANNOUNCE THAT MY I-129F HAS BEEN APPROVED!!!!!!

I am sooo happy, it is so unexpected. I checked my email today and BAM, there it was!!!!

THIS IS MY BEST THANKSGIVING EVER!!!!

But you know what, this is no miracle (well, yes it is). But after my I-130 was approved, I sent an expedite request to Obdusman, the criteria I used was USCIS Error. I told them in my letter that I sent my I-129F sooo late because of the computer glitch. After I sent the letter I got a response in the mail that said that my case would be reviewed and a response would be sent to me within 30 days!!!!

I think this is what happened. I think that is the reason I got approved so fast.

11.21.07 - APPROVED!!!! APPROVED. GOT AN E-MAIL ON THANKSGIVING!

03.03.08- INTERVIEW IN CIUDAD JUAREZ. VISA GRANTED ON 03.03.2008

3.10.08 - Case Received at Chicago Lockbox, check cashed 3.14.08

3.17.08 - Received both NOA's in the mail

3.21.08 - Received Biometrics appointment letter in the mail, biometrics Appt. 4.02.08

5.05.08 - EAD Card Production ordered GOT EMAIL (we received the same email on 5.09.08)

5.13.08 - Approval Email for EAD (so the card was ordered first, and then we were approved...hum)

5.15.08 - EAD Card Received in mail.

8.08.08 - WE GOT OUR INTERVIEW APPOINTMENT YAY...9/12/08 - INTERVIEW APPROVED

9.24.08 - Received Green Card in the mail YEAH!

11/08/2007 - I129F received at NVC, embassy case number generated.

01/09/2008 - finally, DOS gives me the interview date, April 16, 2007 (ouch)

01/23/2008 - never got packet 4, emailed embassy

04/18/2008 - both of us are home at last, POE JFK!

Thank you all for the support, encouragement and updates regarding your case and any info that you have shared. Truly it was appreciated. I will continue to need it as we all do. I'm not sure why but when I've been calling CSC (via USCIS) I was told that the I-130 was assigned to an officer on Nov 14th but I-129F showed as pending..however I was always assured by CSC that both petitions were together. Anywaaaayyy.. I'm ecstatic and relieved that our case is moving forward.. one more step closer to having my wonderful husband in my arms again.. Thank you Lord!!!
