hello, i want to ask the Philippino petitipners how they submitted their birth certificate copies, because my fiance is now a USA citizen but our rfe asked for a CERTIFIED TRANSLATION OF HIS BIRTH CERTIFICATe.. but he says his bc is already in english and alwways has been..and now our visa is getting denied ..any info?

I-129F Sent .......... 2007-05-29 toNSC, then forwarded to CSC

I-129F NOA1 ........ 2007-06-15

I-129F RFE(s) ........ 2007-10-18 (very bad day, yak)

Denied 2007-12-14 because of missing divorce paper. Lawyer swears she sent it and we will file motion to reopen file ...how long?

Interview at Embassy in Bucharest 2008-03-14 - Approved!!!!!!!!

Entry in the USA 2008-05-01

Married 2008-06-21 (hubby almost broke his ankle and a black bird hit our windshield while driving to the courthouse hahah!

US Citizen can also submit a copy of passport, all pages including front cover.

I went to my county health department and acquired a few official copies of my birth cert for filing of I-129F

OUR TIME LINE Please do a timeline it helps us all, thanks.

Is now a US Citizen immigration completed Jan 12, 2012.

It's hard to answer without the full context. Please describe the document containing the request and then type out the exact words of the portion that requests any additional items.

BCs in the Philippines are all in English. No need translations.

Has to be NSO BC Certificate on SECPA paper.

I agree with Haole, you have to give them an NSO certified birth certificate. not a regular one.

they said that any documents in a foreign language should have a certified translation. but the only such documnet was my birth certificate, since his is already in english....so our lawyer said she already sent my certified translation and she thaught it is about his b c. and then they asked for the fulll version of his divorce decree .

but they did not really ask for the b c, because he had already submitted naturalisation certificate and copies of his passport. the only thing not in english my lawyer said she translated and notarized so there are no other foreign language documents. does anyone know how to fight a denial and how long it takes? thanks for all your answers everyon!

no i did not but i have talked to people who have had the same status more than once and every time it was a denial

there is nothing more i would like to hear from our lawyer, that it is not a 100% denial, but i will wait and then i will clear everyone out on what happened. at least it will be useful for others.. :)
