:help: help! please! i just checked my status and it says Current Status: We mailed you a decision.

On November 20, 2007, we mailed you a decision on your I129F, PETITION FOR FIANCE(E). Please follow the instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, please contact customer service.

what can this mean? please help if anyone knows? can this be a denial?

I-129F Sent .......... 2007-05-29 toNSC, then forwarded to CSC

I-129F NOA1 ........ 2007-06-15

I-129F RFE(s) ........ 2007-10-18 (very bad day, yak)

RFE Reply(s) ......... 2007-11-06

Touch.................... 2007-11-07

Touch.................... 2007-11-09

Denied 2007-12-14 because of missing divorce paper. Lawyer swears she sent it and we will file motion to reopen file ...how long?

Filed motion to reopen file a week later

Approved 2008-01-12

Interview at Embassy in Bucharest 2008-03-14 - Approved!!!!!!!!

Entry in the USA 2008-05-01

Married 2008-06-21 (hubby almost broke his ankle and a black bird hit our windshield while driving to the courthouse hahah!

what can this mean? please help if anyone knows? can this be a denial?

It means they made a decision one way or the other. You could call USCIS and talk to a customer service rep, they might tell you what the decision was. But based on what you've provided there's really no way to know.

rfe was for his divorce papres and his birth certificate....we are in shock, we are panicking and we don't know what to do...has anyone heard of this before? does anyone know how a denial looks like?

Sounds pretty clear cut, should be an approval granted the divorce decree and birth cert are good to go.

Can you be more descriptive? What about his divorce papers and birth certificate did they ask for? Please be as specific as possible. Also, did you respond to the RFE with *exactly* the information they requested, and did you mail all of the requested information back with the RFE notice? Please be specific in your answers. Take a long deep breath, everything's going to be fine. :)

Sounds pretty clear cut, should be an approval granted the divorce decree and birth cert are good to go.

thank you for your optimism, i am trying to think that way, but still, all of the others got approval..it should be quite a strange thing that ours be different

yes, we sent everything, we have a lawyer even, i don't know what her role is, but she better be worth her money...that is al they needed. we will see what is going on and we will ask. if not we will fire the lawyer and that's that. is it possible for a lawyer to do somethiing wrong and if they do how can we check it?

the rfe said they need a legible birth certificate of his( he is philipino) and the entire divorce papers ( he had only sent the first three pages)

I hope you get good news soon! This must be very stressful for you, I am so sorry. I don't trust what the website says anyway...mine says our case is still pending and Florin is on an airplane right now! :wacko: Unfortunately you might have to wait until your fiance gets the letter in the mail, or maybe he can call and find out. I will keep you in my prayers and I wish you lots of luck!

9/19/07 - Approved!! NOA2 - 140 days from filing!!!

10/31/07 - Case received at NVC - Happy Halloween!

thank you for your support, i don't know what it can mean since noone has gotten this before....i am not hoping for anything good because it can't be good....but thank you for your prayers, and everyone else's , they really mean a..lot :yes:
