Transferred to local office based on "security checks" : 11/27/2007
wrote hundreds of letters - received letter from FBI Records Management Chief stating no security checks
local office interview : 2/21/2008 - brought my parents too (result : you will get approval within 2-3 weeks)
5/2/2008 - (lawsuit) Writ of Mandamus - OFFICIAL DATE (7/29/2008)
9/22/2008 - CALL AND EMAIL COPY OF APPROVAL NOTICE FROM LAWYER

NVC STAGE 2 : 99 days - 3 months (9/30/2008 to 1/7/2009)
NVC Received : 9/30/2008
Received Packet 3 (I-864/DS-230) : 11/10/2008
NVC says "RFE sent out 12/9/08 for missing documents" : 12/10/2008

GoGo good luck !

I have resolved myself to not calling or checking with USCIS until December 7 ! The frustration and let down is just to much !

There are only a couple of us left on G&A s chart !

2 countdown links have expired and I have changed my USCIS password twice

Gogo, out of all the people on the VJ site; you are one of the people who deserve to receive their approvals the most! Its been a long wait and extremely unfair process! :angry: I hope as fast as possible CSC sends your approvals to relieve all the tension you have experienced with this painful process! :thumbs: Best of luck and CSC its time to release Gogo's approvals!!! :yes:

I'm just waiting to see what you are going to do after the first of january GoGo to go from there because right now I feel lost We may get approve in a a month or in a year this is just unbelievable. :crying::crying: These are going to be a really crappy holidays for us.

The journey is over we are divorced now.

nope, doesn't seem like it... I'm just waiting for my next call (December 7).. I'm giving them their 3 weeks needed this time.. they keep telling me I call too much.. well, if you got your job DONE, I wouldn't be calling now, would I ? :angry:

I DID get something in the mail from my congresswoman.. she said they responded to her already (because I had sent my letter to her 4 times, and also other congressmen had fowarded my letter to her also... so she decided to help... hmmm)... well, anyway.. I got a letter in the mail with her stationery as well as a statement from USCIS regarding my case... they said that my case was being "delayed due to security checks"... most of these checks are done very quickly, but some take longer because there might be an issue with the beneficiary's qualifications to come to America... what the hell is that about?.. it was like a 4-5 paragraph letter (99% BS) stating why they need to do a security check... something about how "they know that we are frustrated, but they need to balance between one person's inconvenience vs the whole nation's safety"... :angry: :angry:
