Ok ladies, Its SUPER TUESDAY tomorrow. I hope all of you within the 24 some odd states who have the voting options, will be flexing yuh voting POWER!!!

I am so excited and nervous all at the same time! Mi even dream bout ie lass night. Ah toss an ah tun all night mi tell yuh!! Lawd, you would swear ie was mi mummy and daddy pon deh ballot deh. haha

Anyway, just thought I'd throw in a pump it up reminder......Oh!! If you didn't know, that you can only vote fro your party in the Primary elections....well now yuh knoa! Meaning...no cross political party voting. if you are a registered Democrat...you can only have the option for voting democrat. If you are a Rep, only can vote Rep. If you are Libertarian, Green, Peace. you can only vote feh dem. BUT!! if you are Independent...the Democrats allow you to vote Democratic. Also if you are non-Partisan you can vote Democrat too. Anyway...its all very confusing cause even I didnt know this and I think that I am either registered Independant, or Green so mi nah knoa wha mi fi do come tomorrow. Just ask your representative at your polling place if you have any questions. You can also take a look at your sample ballot on page 1. That page lists the Presidential candidates you have the option to vote for.

OFF-TOPIC *INTERVIEW QUESTION*

Ok, I need help (no comments from the peanut gallery please )!

When you guys went on your interviews did you take copies of your prior years taxes or a 'Tax transcript' from each year?

I misread the required docs list, and just realized that they prefer the transcript instead of the actual returns. I am going to see if I can find out where to get them and if I will have enough time.

I know this is late...but you get pick up the transcripts at your local IRS office. I did when we went for our AOS interview...and they (USCIS) wouldn't accept the actual returns. Of course the b @ IRS that helped me...set me up for an audit for all three years. They tried to say I owed more $$. I refused to go to the audit, I just set up a payment arrangement of $50 per month. I made my first payment, and they sent me a refund check to the tune of $1000, plus my $50 payment back. They OWED me more money! God is good. I didn't fret about it at all.

The most amazing thing happened to me this evening. I hired a babysitter to watch the kids while I go to school. She started this evening. From inital contact she told me she was a christian and when she went to church ok cool. Just wanted her for one night. So she starts tonight and I asked her if she cleaned. I knew she did because one of her references told me. So I asked her how much additional she would charge. (a sister is TIRED when she comes home and weekends all I do is sleep on saturday and do laundry on sunday) anyway my girl told me that the spirit spoke to her and she can't charge me for babysitting. I had to look at her twice and said excuse me and she repeated it. She said the spirit spoke to her and she can't charge me for babysitting and she's only going to do it until mr. jengles comes back. She said when she goes against God something bad happens. I gave her offering to put in the plate.

God knows what no one else knows .. who God Bless no Man curse...BELIEVE THAT..

Now on the keeping it real, speaking to her on the phone, she sounded like a big west indian woman and when I opened the door mi sey...the gyal pretty bad...I was like oh hell no...but she was so sweet...can't judge a book by its cover...

It's like he's preparing the road for you......How is Mr Jengles getting with the visa/passport thing?

Mr. Jengles went to JA because he listened to his cousin. Like I stated before he was the one supporting all of them, even those that worked and when he came up here they missed that or at least she did. Let me not talk about the rest of his family. she would call my house and tell him things like how his job called looking for him, and how his kids were sick and his brother was letting his house go and not working the car, just stuff to make him think whatever he had in jamaica was going to go up in smoke. She even found people to borrow the money for his fare. So he goes to JA, he has a buyer for the car, but no title. Kingston never processed the title.

He didn't listen to me. I told him to go when he got the title and a buyer. he didn't listen when he got the dream telling him not to go. he didn't listen when he lost his passport, he started getting the hint when he lost his JA liscense. I spoke to him on Sunday and he said "he's down there like a damn fool" he is miserable. He thought he was only going to be there for 2 weeks. I'm going to let God deal with him. When God opened the door for him in america he closed the door in jamaica. God knew I needed the childcare help, because now I'm paying for afterschool for my son and soon i'm going to be paying daycare for my daughter by myself. I couldn't drop out of school not for my last class.

God knows just how long I would be needing the babysitter for and sent her for just that long. While he teaches my husband who is the real boss.

So I'm thankful and need to get myself in somebody's church soon.

Thanks everyone. I haven't seen my honey since Sept so the hormones are jumping....lol Has anyone been to Evita's in Ochi? It's an Italian/Jamaican mix restaurant. I plan on taking Ray there for his birthday...

I have...and it was NOTHING to write home about. I enjoyed the shrimp alfredo...but my friends didn't fair so well with the other dishes. The drinks were disgusting...so I settled on fruit juice from a bottle. I would never do it again...and I love Italian.

My cousin that came up a last year that's what happened to her fiance. They was so devastated that neither of them heard the CO tell them that they were approved. I'm not sure if he was with them during the interview or waiting in the car. That was the first thing they were told. He don't even remember if the CO asked him more than one question. You know what was really messed up though, the little boy told my cousin that he knew who his daddy was. His mother knew also, but this was just another way to try and keep her ex in jamaica. Well it didn't work, he left 11 days later. The little boy kept saying he was sorry and my cousin told him it's not his fault. It's almost a year now and her husband is still emotionally torn up about this. Does the mother have to sign some form for the child to leave with the fiance? I have a friend that is filing for her fiance, but he has 6 kids and I don't know how that's going to work. She makes more than enough money to care from them and her fiance, but that's a lot. (Any advice).

I'm praying for you and that all works out for the best...99.9% of the DNA and ----- for the (GANGA test)...is that the only drug they test for? If so, why? Let me not open that can of worms.

That would be devastating. What I don't understand is why isn't the culture more accepting of those fathers who choose to take care of child, with the occurance rate being so high..I mean one and three. Instead, according to my husband, the men are ridiculed buy people in the community. D says the women do it on purpose as a way of income and a way to survive. The courts will require the "father" to pay child support even if there is no proof to paternity. Is this true? That's crazy, but they will require a DNA test and tell a man...."sorry this isn't your child", but your free to leave the counrty. This is soo sad. and to think this kid knew who his father was. I hear you on the emotional side of it. My husband is devastated by it and wants noone he knows to know esp. not any of his family. I'm praying for you as well, it's best to be prepared and trust your judgement and if I were you, I'd do the test a head of time if it would save him from a bit of embarrisment.

Sis...you know we have talked about this a couple of times. I have my doubts about one of our baby girls...the one that is sick. He would be devastated to find that out too. He has already put so much on the line to be a father. *sigh* It makes my stomach lurch just thinking about it. But, as the saying goes...all that's done in the dark will come to light.

Last time I saw him was at crossroads...they had to lock it down though...too much people. And the last time he was at the boy and girls club in Langley Park, the people mash up the dance, because he only performed for 10mins...so bottle start to FLING and that was the end of it. Bway our people can gwaane bad sometimes. I was upset too over the 10 mins, but we just left and the show was suppose to start at 11pm sharp, it performed from 2am to 2:20am...it was crazy.

Yeah, we'll see what happens. I've never known a Jamaican artist who didn't perform before 2am when it was suppose to start at 11:00...it's crazy. He's performing at Club Envy. I only go to the Crossroads, Zanzibar and Club Envy because I feel comfortable. This gift is for Damien...he thinks Bounty is the best DJ. I've never heard of him performing in the area in the last 3 years..well since Damien's been here....we'll just have to see.

Oh yeah, the club owner isn't going to advertise it too much like the Crossroads so hopefully the crowd will be OK.

In '98 go I met Bounty at the airport in Montego Bay, he was waiting for a flight to Kingston and I had no idea who he was. He did not introduce himself at Bounty Killa, he said some other name, which I can't remember. But it was the best conversation I've ever had with a stranger. To tell you the truth I wanted to offer him a JAR of VASELINE...he was so DAMN ASHY...his LIPS, NOSE, and don't start me on the HANDS...(did I mention the LIPS...oh yeah). It was damn near 100 degrees in the airport and he was in a full leather suit. He said he was coming from Atlanta and it was cold there (this was end of August). He's a very humbling person. Could not figure out why people kept looking at us (while I sat there and stuff my face with 2 beef paties) until later on when he got up to leave and young guy that was traveling to Baltimore sat next to me on my flight asked me what I was talking to the Killa about...I was like WHO?...he said you were talking to Bounty Killa (best all round deejay in Jamaica).

Girl that was 10 years ago...I've met up with him a few times after that while he was peforming either in Maryland, Phili or New York. Back in my days, I knew a lot of entertainers. My friends at one point or another was dating them. Me on the other hand STAY the hell away from them. BAG of crossess, as my grandmother would say and it's true. I've seen it with my own eyes. I've not seen him in person or on stage in four years.

I have to find the pictures of when ELEPHANT man dragged me on stage at crossroads (he loves VALOUPTOUS women) and I ran away. It was a mess. And the crowd was booing beause I would not dance with him. Then he sent his GOONES after me the rest of the night. He SPITS on people when he talks....yuck, yuck, yuck. Him, I have no respect for. ELEPHANT MAN was straight forward about what he was looking for in a women and because I'm a lady ( ) mi tell im fi go wash im cratches. WELL NOT SO NICELY.

I'm different I guess, ENTERTAINERS don't phase me...they sleep, eat and (*$% just like I do. So, when I see one I see all.

Suppose to be in New York next weekend, not sure if I'll make the show. Would love to. Dang wonder what would have happened if I had taken his number that day. SIKEEEEEEEEEEEEE

Going to these shows definitely is not for everybody...is what we like to do. I've seen lots of Jamaican artists perform here and in Jamaica. I met Bounty in Pier1 last November...no biggie. They don't phase me either. We saw Mavado here last December here...now that was a good concert. That was Damien's Christmas gift. He likes the vibe, music and he always sees people from Mo Bay whenever we go out. I also love dancehall music...we really enjoy ourselves. I do whatever I can in my reach to make him

I saw Mavado and Vybz in Ochi on my last reach...great show! I danced my a$$ off that night! I've always wanted to meet Beenie Man (pre-D'Angel), Capleton and Beres Hammond. I would so do Beres Hammond! I know he is older...but whew...sing for me baby!

I've met a lot of rappers...most memorable....I danced with Tupac at a night club here in Atlanta.

Ok people don't kill me. But i've never been able to get into MO Bay...Negril was nice, but nothing really going on but the beach...I LOVE Ochi, cyan just walk out and u in the middle of things...that hip strip is boring, where do u all hang out when u go there??? Ya'll talking bout places and i'm like where is that. I like mixing up with people when I go to JA.

Girl after my own heart. I tried Negril...A and I HATED it...we love the dancehall scene...and the Jungle was okay but not an Ochi party for sure. I just can't get into Roots Bamboo and the old SKA tunes. I like them...but they do not invoke "party" like my Vybzy can.

I spent a miserable 6 hours in Mobay waiting on a friends plane to come in...we drove around Mobay a little...stopped here and there...went back to the airport and had more fun parked on the side of the road watching the planes come in.

Ochi...oh my Ochi. Oh btw...I loved Portland and Boston Bay too. It was so nice.

Don't feel too bad...I am way outta the loop as well I was only in Mo Bay for the airport and stayed for a night or 2 when they lost the luggage but other than that nothing. Never been to Negril. Been to Ochi more than anything but even then it wasn't much. The Island Grill, the mall, the movie place, KFC

Now when you all start talking about Spanish Town, May Pen, Town, Linstead, Mt. Rosser, Ewarton...I will be able to contribute I truly feel like a country girl!

This is where I stomped around on my last trip. There was NOTHING to do in Linstead/Mt. Rosser/Ewarton. I thought the guys were going to take us to Kingston...but it didn't happen. I was so MAD! We had a ball one night at a roadside bar just outside of Mt. Rosser/Ewarton. Me and this other Jamaican woman started dancing to the tunes..and the next thing you know...people were stopping in the middle of the road...doing u-turns and parking along the side of the road. I think this bar made the most $$ it has seen in a looooooonnnngggg time.

I think the house we stayed in was in Mt. Rosser...or Mt. something or the other. We had about a 10-15 minute ride to get to Linstead. Boy, I got spoiled on this trip. There we were three ladies surrounded at all times by 10 or more men at all times. These men wouldn't let us lift a finger...all the callaloo/okra, roast breadfruit, ackee/saltfish, dumplings, jackfruit(??), steam fish a girl could ask for. *sigh* I never thought I would be saying that I miss it....but I do. I wish I was there right now.

I miss my baby so much...but the mere thought of Canada right now makes me want to cry.

Gillie...I need some help sweetie. Can you help me get some real winter clothes for my trip? I can't find anything that will withstand -30 degrees and snow here in Atlanta. I have boots for show...you know fashion stilletos...A told me...no baby...you can't manage the snow inna dem sumting. Yuh need fe bring long john unda yuh pance dem....and nuff sweaters and ting. Ladies...I don't think I will make it the first day. He better eat a lot of nature foods to help keep me warm. ME!
