Why don't you let him download the form from USCIS and he can fill it out online and print to send back?

I would not advise using white-out. If you cannot fill out a new form, make a neat mark through the error and inital it. You may also wish to include an attachment explaining the error and correction. Just my $.02

Why can't he download the new forms, you explain the part he needs to sign, and then send back the signed forms fr you to complete again?
