I am sure it depends...., but I am wondering....

How long will it take to get package after receiving the letter from NVC??

We just got the letter from NVC today.... does that mean they already sent out my case to the embassy???

I just cant wait to get the package!!!!

Call NVC and ask them when it was sent to the embassy then u can try to track it on dhl using the date they gave u.

THANK you for the info!

I didnt know that I can track it online!! I didnt even know they tell us the number for tracking!!! :P

I will wait about a week or so, and if nothing is delivered to my mailbox, then I will call NVC.

THANK YOU AGAIN!!

If you call NVC they should be able to tell you the date your file left there. They were able to tell me mine, then through that tracking thread I was able to find it. Although I knew the exact date, I still had to play around a day or two around it on DHL's site to find it. But it worked. :)

are ppl including pay stubs in addition to their employee letter? It doesn't say anywhere about pay stubs but I've seen posts mentioning to include it. Does london want those?

It didn't say to include them, but I did anyway and when my fiance was at the embassy for his interview yesterday, they did take them from him.

ugh...another thing to hunt down...i just started new job and first pay stub isn't reflective yet of my income as stated in my contract...But I have the employee letter so hopefully that will be good enough and bg still has to get packet 3 so that might give us time for the next paycheck to come

unless there are any security issues you'll be in and out of NVC in 2-3 days. I got put in AP at NVC and as the person I spoke to at NVC put it... "that's the dang fastest AP I've ever seen!" I went into AP on a friday afternoon and came out of AP on the following monday! I was there around 5 days.

I just called NVC, AGAIN.... they received our petition on 01/02, today the lady said it is in administrative processing  I asked her if that was normal and she said yes. She said since 09/11, there is extra processing. Anyone know if that's true?

thanks

What about income tax returns? I've read that some people include them but I haven't seen anywhere that they are required????

Thanks!

I've been in AP at NVC since 12/4. Still waiting. The only news I got really is that it's a random security check and they don't know how long it will last. Someone else on the NVC forum said that they were told to estimate 4-6 weeks for K1s. I'm around 4 weeks now. In two more weeks, maybe I'll be done. God willing....

URGENT HELP :help:

I am filling the DS-230 Part 1 But i am confuse because in the instructions says:

Mark questions that are not applicable, with N/A. I remember in the I-129 said "DO NOT WRITE N/A, WRITE NONE"

The Embassy sent me the forms which expire on the 7/31/2007

In the VJ forms is the same expire date. Is there an updated page?

Not sure about the expiration issue. Try contacting your embassydirectly about it.

As for N/A vs. None, I really don't think it's anything to stress about. I highly doubt an application would be denied because someone wrote "N/A" instead of "None". Either way, since you are filling out the DS-230 and its instructions tell you to write N/A, then write N/A. It's a different form than the I-129f, so what you wrote on the latter really doesn't pertain to the former, in my opinion.
