Well here's the Chinese process, after the petitions leave NVC and get to China, the petitions sit in the DHL warehouse for around 3 months waiting for the Embassy to collect them, then its around 2 1/2 to 3 months for the interview, so we are looking at about another 6 months until interview.

Oh myyy with those prognostics you may love to work just one day at DHL and bring them to the Embassy for free!

That is unbelievable! or... may be they have lots of work, lots of interviews every days, could be the case. Any ways, is too long waiting.

In this process, i have learn what patience means in real life, what a lesson we are getting.

Well one thing I know for sure. I would not survived as well as I have if it wasn't for my fellow VJers. Made some good friends on here too who I'll hopefully keep i touch with for years to come.

Defo - I think I would be a gibbering wreck if it weren't for everyone on here - has prolly saved Jeremy from dealing with a lot of cr@p as well!! And it is reassuring to see other people going through the same process - makes things seem a bit more normal

plus everyone on here knows and understands the situation and the different stages. I'm so fed up of explaining the difference between approval (NOA2) and approval (interview). Also it's someone to share the excitment with when something happens......some other people are just like....so you've still not got it...why you happy............... I'M HAPPY BECAUSE I'M A STEP CLOSER.

Lol I know!! I've kinda explained it in brief to most people I spend time with but they tend to get that glassy eyed look...

They don't seem to realise this is our life and of course we are all mildly *cough* *refresh* obsessed but that is because it determines our whole future

yep...I know the " oh god here she goes again with Nick and her visa" I think the only reason why some of my colleagues get excited as they just want to get out of their hair so I stop annoying them.
