Happy weddings to PFCsBaby, Jeremy and Kristy, Liz and Ol, Amanda and Doug, and anyone else getting married this week and happy US Thanksgiving to anyone gorging themselves next Thursday. I will be meeting my fiance at SeaTac and then taking him to meet my crazy family in Bellingham. This song by Garrison Keillor pretty much sums up the usual holiday experience at the Sonoran Family Estate --- http://prairiehome.publicradio.org/program...6_1123JOHNB.htm ---- and it is going to rain the entire week we are there. Hmm, well, I guess he may as well see what he is getting himself into up front. Safe travels to whoever else will be travelling.

October 2006 - I-129F sent

10/24/2007 - INTERVIEW DATE!!!!!....APPROVED!!

10/30/2007 - Visa in hand!

AOS Timeline:

1/30/08 - Sent AOS pkg Priority Mail with USPS

3/12/08 - Biometrics taken

3/29/08 - EAD and AP in hand for me and my son

5/21/08 - Email-GC on its way!...RFE for my son's application

5/27/08 - GC arrives!!!

7/02/08 - Sons GC arrives!!!

ROC TIMELINE

3/23/10 - ROC sent!

3/29/10 - NOA1

4/22/10 - Biometrics Appt for me and my son

6/30/10 - Email saying card production ordered for me and my son

7/6/10 - Letter in the mail saying cards will arrive within 60 days

7/10/10 - Both cards received!

I don't think it is suppose to be too major...and I have heard a hundred different reports. Some say snow, others freezing rain and yet other just plain rain. You never know what you are gonna get in the good old PNW.

Hopefully nothing happens and we can just have a wet Thanksgiving like usual :lol:

Officially Engaged December 24th, 2007!!!

Moved to the U.S. to be with my baby on July 19th, 2008 on a K1 visa!!!!

Thanks for the Thanksgiving wishes. Safe travels to you, and may you have a great Thanksgiving as well. We are headed down to Houston for a few days - get to see what rain is like again since it is supposed to rain the whole time we're there - it has been so long since we have had any here. Happy Thanksgiving!

07/18/07 - Interview yeeehaaa .. approved

07/26/07 - received Visa from Montreal (should have received 07/24)

07/26/07 - POE Buffalo, NY (Peace Bridge) .. No EAD stamp

07/27/07 - Beautiful marriage .. now you may call me Mrs. :)

07/28/07 - Filed AOS,EAD, and AP for me and AOS and AP for my son via UPS .. received 08/01

08/16/07 - applied for ssn

09/03/07 - received ssn card

11/07/07 - AP approved and received 11/12/07 :)

11/19/07- EAD approved online and received same day (actual approval 11/07/07) :)

12/27/07 - AOS transferred to CSC

02/26/08 - 485's approved without interview

01/14/09 - Sent I-751 - removal of conditions

02/23/10 - Biometrics

03/17/10 - Removal of conditions approved .. card production ordered
