My wife had her interview for K3 or cr1 on nov 8 and they said you have have visa and she paid the courier servive to deliver the visa. She lives in Olongapo which is about 40-50 miles to the north od manila. My question is this, really 2 questions.

1. I do not check my mail often and was wonder if NVC or ?? send me a 230 or ?? and need all filled out and more money before they issue the visa???????

2. If they said you had the visa and "welcome to america" then all is ok . .. . right

Sorry I am in a hurry to see my wife, hope they send it soon or what you think??

How do I call the embassy and check on the visa or should I??

Thank you all for any help you can offer

This is quite confusing. I didn't understand I guess. lol :D

K3 and CR1 is both a spousal visa but they differ a lot in processing.

If u didn't submit a DS230 forms then ur wife just had her K3 visa and she is approved since the CO said "welcome to america". Congrats. :D

Are you going for the K3 or the CR1 route? K3 visa will be an extra $1010 for Adjustment of Status.

If you do not submit your DS230, but you have your interview already, then yours is a K3 visa.

Looks like your wife had the K-3 visa interview (since you did not have the DS-230 forms). CONGRATS on the interview approval! Delivery of visa to Olongapo may take about 5-7 days. Then she will need to go for her CFO seminar and stamp before her flight. Then once she is here in the US, since I think you have the K-3, then you will need to file for Adjustment of Status which is about $1010.00 then she will have the 2-year GC (conditional permanent resident GC).
