It is long time I didn’t post here. You may will see my name Happy Man, but I am not any more happy.

To make long story short…….I am married with an USC since January 2004. My wife applied for my CR-1 visa and I got my visa last week from Casablanca.

Our relation was very nice, loving and cordial but suddenly starting of this month I found that my wife is trying to avoid me……………I asked her whether any problem…………she told no problem……………but 7-8 days before she sent me an email and told me that she is confused and not in love with me…………….but she didn’t mention what is my fault……………..to be honest after our marriage I never did any wrong with her………I loved her…………I respected her……………as much as possible I take care to her…………………we talked online daily and over phone too. I surprised to see very suddenly she changed her mind. I can’t believe it still!!!

Any way, I contacted with her few friends, whom I knew by her, she introduced me. I asked them why my wife acting like this…………..they found that my wife is now contacting with another guy and before 3-4 years she was in love with him even she applied for him K-1 that time and got denied . The guy from Algeria. After 2-3 years the guy sent her an email and told her that he miss her too bad and he wants to be with her again then she sent reply that she is feeling same……they started online chatting and this is the reason she is avoiding me.

Now my question :

Can I still enter to USA by my CR-1 Visa?

If she wants can she cancel my CR-1?

Do I have anything to do, any suggestion?

I really love her and miss her too bad, I want to be with her.

Please give me your valuable advice and your advice or suggestion will be highly appreciated

Instead of worrying about if you can stay - why don't you work on your relationship. Don't just jump ship so quickly...talk to your wife, go to counseling?

If she really wants you to go, why are you so against going? WHy do you want to stay in t he US if you came here for her?

Finally finished with immigration in 2012!

First off I find it strange that you have been married more than 2 years and you aren't already here in the US. What is the status of the visa? There are two sides to every story, I wish we could hear your wifes side. Also, why was she denied the fiance visa with this guy from Algeria? There seems to be something very fishy about this entire situation.

I cannot answer your question but I hope you are able to reach your wife. If you can still enter, and I would think you could, then you can talk to one another and perhaps save your marriage. You don't mention how many times you have seen one another in two years. Maybe given time together is what is needed. I wish you the best. Everyone deserves answers.

HappyMan,

I'm so so sorry to hear of your misfortunes. I think you should try and talk to your wife. Unfortunately, if she does not love you, then your life here in the USA will be fruitless. To answer your questions:

Now my question :

Can I still enter to USA by my CR-1 Visa? Yes, however you will not be able to adjust your status if your wife does not want to, resulting you possibly being deported. Do you really want to go through all of that?

If she wants can she cancel my CR-1? YES, she is possibly doing this as we speak

Do I have anything to do, any suggestion? . Reevaluate this situation...Do you really want to be with a woman that can switch her love for her husband like a light switch??? I'm sure this entire situation is a shock to you, but the best way to resolve this issue is to talk to your wife and get the answers from her and not from her friends.

If you're married for two years why didn't you get an IR-1 visa?

But to be less skeptical, you can still enter the US on your visa, and you probably should in order to save your marriage if at all possible. Whether you can stay doesn't really matter at this point, because your wife is the reason you planned the move, so if she is not willing to mend the relationship then there's not much you can do.

If you have a CR-1, you will be granted conditional residency for two years, after which time you need to file for removal of conditions which will be difficult if you're not married anymore at that time. If you're on an IR-1, you shouldn't have any problems staying in the US given that you will receive a GC after arrival. I don't know if there's anything your wife can do to cancel you visa, but other than informing USCIS that your relationship has been terminated there's not much she could do, and even then it would be questionable if that would change anything unless she claimed fraudulent reasons.

It's been a long time since I last posted here. You may see my name is Happy Man, but I am no longer happy.

To make long story short, I've been married to a USC since January of '04. My wife applied for my CR-1 Visa and just last week I got it from Casablanca.

If you've been married for over two years now; why would you get the CR-1 Visa just last week?
