Waiting for NOA2

I hope someone can give me some hope. This is probably one of the hardest things in life to go through. The long wait to get your NOA2 and this entire process in general. I've been monitoring the timelines everyday. always hoping and praying that I would see some news that would reassure me that it was coming. Being in the dark is so difficult. Vermont has historically been the fastest but they've slowed down and moved into last place if you ask me. I've been watching people that go through California's site that filed after my date have already been recieving their NOA2's. Then when I logged on today I noticed the first Vermont filer for June recieved theirs. So now I have hope again but the person who recieved their NOA2 filed after me? I'm very happy for them and wish them all the speed. I thought that files were done in order of date but I guess I might be wrong. Does anyone know if I should contact USCIS and inquire about it or will this only delay things. I hear so many horror stories that people say if they pull your file they may put it back at the end of the pile. Am I jumping the gun or do you think I should see an answer this week? I need some comfort news for both me and my fiance.

Thanks

Take a look at the immigration timelines at the top of the page, that can give you some good stats to evaluate

I may be a bit stupid, but I am not really sure how to read those graphs. The California Service Center has been saying that it is processing applications from April 12, 2007 for a couple of months now...do I have to wait for that count down to my date (July 3rd) before I will get processed, or is it pretty meaningless?

I just hope that june filers will start getting approved and soon!!!

This is what I don't understand........we have others that have filed before us and haven't gotten an NOA2, but then we have some that filed after us and have gotten the NOA2.

That really doesn't make much sense at all. I think there should be a better system that they could process petitions with.

just my 2 cents :)
