hey everyone im new here on this forum, iv been following my i-130 since feb when we filed it, we payed a lawyer to do everything for us, and everything was going good untill. my lawyer sent our final packet in with ds230 for completion of the case, they recieved it on nov 5 and I called the nvc automated system and it said,

"THEY REVIEWED MY PACKET AND THEY FOUND MISSING OR INCOMPLETE INFORMATION" AND WILL SEND A CHECKLIST LETTER. I was really dissapointed in that because we payed a lawyer to do it and thatts what we get, more delay! idk is that normal, have many people experienced this, if so how much longer did you have to wait. t

this is nightmare for me, the last thing I wuold ever want to happen, any help or suggestions would be appreciated. :help:

hey, don't worry about it, it happens

call NVC press 1 then 5 and ask what was wrong or missing so you can get it ready for them, sometimes they review them wrong like they did with mine so find out what's going on

If you got the Case Complete letter.. I don't see why you should get an automated response that your missing some info/docs..

You should have a talk with your lawyer.. I think he/she has fixed it..

IR-1 Visa for Wife

NVC Case Complete = January 2, 2008

Received Packet 4 here in the US (Interview Packet) = January 18, 2008

Case Left NVC Forwarded to USEM Manila = January 23, 2008

SLEC Medical = Jan 31 and Feb 1, 2008 (2 days)

USEM Manila Interview = February 20, 2008 @ 8:30am = DONE! (Status: 2 Months wait is over APPROVED)

CFO Guidance & Counseling = April 17, 2008

Visa in Hand = April 18, 2008 (Our Wedding Anniversary)

Arrival in the US and POE = April 23, 2008 JFK Intl. Airport New York City

Social Security Card = May 2, 2008

Green Card in Hand = August 18,2008

Call NVC at 603 334 0700. I suggest to call them between 7:30AM-8AM EST. Make sure you have your NVC Case # or CIS#. You can speak to a live operator and ask them what was wrong or incomplete with your DS230.

IR-1

Immigration Process

2007-02-22 **I-130 Sent to VSC

2007-07-02 **I-130 APPROVED at USCIS- CSC

2007-10-10 **CASE COMPLETED at NVC

2007-11-15 **INTERVIEW DATE. APPROVED at USEM!!!

USA

2007-12-02 **Arrival from MNL to JFK (NYC)

2007-12-10 **Visit to SSA
