trouble with sponsor....

Anybody able to help.

I am all about ready to send in my last docs for my interview and the person who is sponsering me has just been made redundant.

Do they actually check there and then when I show all the docs (I-864) or will I have to go and try to find another sponsor.

What do you mean? They already signed the papers but just now backed out?

I think she means the co-sponsor now has no regular employment and would that affect them being a sponsor and if so do they now need a new one who HAS a job....

Your post raises some interesting questions.

- "The person who is sponsoring [you] ..." is not your spouse?

- In any case, if your spouse does not have sufficient financial resources to sponsor you, and the person who was going to sponsor you no longer has sufficient financial resources, who is going to feed, clothe, and house you when you arrive in the USA?

The answer to the 2nd question may be able to be your sponsor, and anyone who is willing to actually pay the money should have no trouble signing an afficavit to that effect.

Or is there more information about the situation that you are witholding?
