I am enjoying one of my sleepless nights with great techno in the background and a game of solitary wondering where the hell my H. is - who knows, who cares...at this point I don't... too tired of caring and worrying - life is too short for this #######...

Anyhow, it is Friday and I am a changed woman!

It's FRIDAY The city I live in has all the x-mas decorations up. It seems each year it gets earlier and earlier. I get a letter in the mail for my Maytag dishwasher that i purchased 6 years ago saying its on the recall list that it could cause a fire

Add to the excitement: remember when my grandmother was having surgery around the time Ramy got his visa? Well she's coming HOME from the nursing home today . She hasn't been home in over 2 months!

Today is pizza day in the office! We have a new employee but I realized today I forgot her name. Pretty sad when there's only like 10 of us and only 3 of us are women. hahaha.

I woke up glad it's Friday but sad I had to get up. My ears and head feel like they have explosives in them from congestion. I wish you the best tomorrow Sparrow on your arrival of your man. I hope he finds himself home safe and uneventful. I can't wait until Ayman gets here but I will see him next month to help break up this terrible wiat. Glad to hear your grandma is coming home, two blessings this week for you.

I think you made me crave pizza even though I can't taste anything..all a pregnant woman has to hear is a name of a food and it is on her thoughts all day

Hi everyone! Well today is day ten since my husband arrived, so far everything is SO good that I just can't believe it. My kids are crazy about him and he seems to feel the same about them. We like to cook together, and I have learned to make magloob<sp? I am learning so much more about him than I knew before, he is kind and caring, likes to make jokes and goof around, he keeps me laughing so much. My family all have approved of him so far and seem to really like him. The other day we drove into Chicago looking for the arab community there, unfortunately we didn't find it, but we did get a good tour of the city.

I thought it would be harder to get used to sharing my "SPACE" with another person again, so far everything just seems to be fitting into place. It is so good to have him here with me, my lover, my best friend. He may have a small line of odd jobs for cash in the near future that don't require him to have the EAD, anything to get him out of the house so he doesn't go crazy just sitting here. We are hoping to file for AOS this week so that he can be legal for work and get a steady job at the hospital where I work.

Hope to see some others that have been waiting get some good news soon. Something good has to be in the air, that time of year is coming soon!

sparrow sidetracked me ....Forgot to say good morning everyone!

I fed my cat "Egypt" (7 years old), Friskey's , I usually give her 9lives, and I can't believe it!! She's been running around the house like crazy, JUMPING on the bed! meowing while RUNNING, and just acting silly! I'll warm up some milk in a little while to see if that turns her down one notch!

My cat (also 7) acts like that almost all the time! She's insane!!!! I love it when she gets all crazy. I don't know about your cat, but my cat LOVES men...so you know what's going to happen tomorrow. She's going to fall in love and run all over the house!

Tasha - I'm sorry that you are feeling so bad. I remember having a couple of colds when I was pregnant and it was H-E-L-L!!!!!! I think the Pizza would definitely help!

JP? and pregnancy? Well if she wants it! But I see her point of the fact it's only been 6 weeks I, on the other hand, would gladly step into her place (but with my own husband, which does in fact not really make it her place).

I just want to go HOME. I have had the most "The Office"-like week here as of yet, and while it is great fun, it is also kind of stressful. Ammar takes his TOEFL today 9right now actually) and then starting tonight he'll begin studying for the GRE.

Mine loves men too. She is such a sweetie with my dad when my parents come to visit. Once he leaves, she takes one look at me and starts acting like...well let's say she has multiple personalities and one of them is garfield another is cujo (although cujo was a dog , but she sure can be mean when she wants to). My kids say i spoil her too much and she knows she can get away with practically anything. LOL

Here's a pic i took from her the other day, her expression seems to be warning me to get the camera out of her face! She's very much loved and she knows it!

Goodmorning all

I woke up and tryied to get online. And my computer started to beep at me. Then the monitor wont turn on. And the computer sounds like a airplane is inside. I think it is the fan. And it won't do any thing. And I know nothing about computers. So I hooked up the laptop to get online. But I hate this thing. I told my hubby that I need that book computers for dummies. He says he is not married to a dummie
