There are quite a few of us in the same boat. I sent my application 8 days earlier than you and still nothing. Looking at other time lines, NOA1s are scattered through september and early october, maybe 60-70% complete at best. Not much to do but wait. Hopefully, you got delivery confirmation and you know it arrived safely.

After 90 days, you can call and have them do an inquiry. Don't worry though. You are in line and waiting right next to everyone who already got NOA1

Not trying to up my post count, but you replied while I was writing the previous reply and I can't edit my reply just above now... so you get 2 seperate post. hehe

For the processing timelines, don't be discouraged! That is for NOA2 and it is the slowest petition they are currently working on (excluding RFE's). Also, those times were last updated Oct 15th; By now, that date should be May something and will probably will be updated on Nov 15th. In reality, they are processing June and slow May applications now.

you know you gave me a relief with your explanation. thanks so much..i was just worried cus majority of the people here in vj that filed K1 to the cali service center got their NOA1 in less than 3 wks and it seems like thats the longest period already based on their application updates.anyways, atleast i know someone now who is having the same experience. we can update each other on our application. il keep intouch.

i checked the "case service, how do i.." button at the uscis website and got this PDF type of instructions of what can be done after sending the application. it stated there that if we still havent received a receipt 30 days after we sent our application, we are instructed to call their customer support. hhaaayy.... oh well! im just really excited to be wed!! i remember alot of people not getting their NOA1 for a month or so in sept. there was a problem generating the paper. so my questions are this,

Did you send your petition with any kind of tracking? if so it will show they received it.

did you use a check and has it been cashed? if cashed it has been received

did you get your number off the back of the check? if you can log on to USCIS and see info on your case, they received it.

the date April 12th means that is the oldest case they are currently working on. they are also currently processing may and june filers. Also one july filer has been approved. currently it is taking about 5 months to get NOA2 and about 10 months to get visa be united.

fill out your timeline that would help on some of your time questions.

If you sent your petition in Oct you can expect your NOA2 in March and an interview in june or so.

Hi :0)

I filed on October 9th. Received our NOA on October 17th. I had received my return receipt back only a few days before the notice arrived. So I'm praying this is a good sign. They maybe back logged as everyone is saying. If you sent a check and they have cashed it. You can check the back of your check typcially your receipt number is on the back and you then can check online to see ur status.

Hope that helps!!

Best of luck!

I'm still waiting (I'm September 26th) I actually talked to an officer today and did not get encouraging news. Mind you I accidentally sent to Nebraska not realizing that Missouri is now connected to CSC. Anyway....he said that I have two choices I either resubmit now or wait a few months and resubmit. Apparently there is no longer a line in the sand when it comes to them investigating even after you go past 90 days, your just out of luck.

Whats worse is I told him that was fine I'll resubmit and watch my checks whichever one is cashed first i'll cancel the other one. He told me I couldn't do that as I will then owe the gov. 455.

So I guess i'll wait until Dec.

my fiance didnt get the number at the back of the receiplt :o il keep you guys updated about our application. it seem like the octoberians and septemberians are in the slow pace right now...hope processing will soon be faster for us. God sees us.

and since we dont know the numbers at the back of the check, is there like a possible other ways for us to find that number, is it indicated only at the back of that receipt??

im praying for all our applications.
