Cheap Flight to US

One downside to the throw-away-the-return deal is that the airline can punish you by (OH NOOEZ!!!) stripping you of your frequent flier miles.

The way to avoid this is to not alert them to your frequent flier status when you book or board.

It's really absurd -- to fly one-way in January from LHR to SFO, Mr. Psho-to-be would have to pay $1400 one way (coach!!). We're tossing the return ticket.

I am going from Dublin. No point flying from Dublin as Im gonna be worried over connections.

The boat from Birkenhead takes 7 hours. For £99 I get a cabin and evening meal on the boat included. I get there for 5am then its take a taxi from Dublin Ferry Port too the Airport.

For that £99 extra its saving me worring about

Taxi to Liverpool and trainfare to Mancester Airport.

I can try sleep in cabin and get to Dublin Refreshed.
