Anyone know any good sites or airlines who offer one way flights to US?

I don't wanna buy a return and not use it incase they see the K1 at the airport and think im not coming back etc. (throw away ticketing)

Airline cannot deny you travel based on K-1 visa, and RT ticket, pick what is cheaper, RT or OW.

http://travelocity.com/ will allow One-Way and compares many airlines, I then check the various airlines and see if they have better prices.

OUR TIME LINE Please do a timeline it helps us all, thanks.

Is now a US Citizen immigration completed Jan 12, 2012.

Airlines can deny you travel for any reason they choose. Just because you have paid for a ticket doesn't mean they have to let you on the aircraft.

Im reffering to the term used as throw away ticketing.

A one way ticket to usa from England is more expensive then a round trip.

Did anyone move to USA on a one way ticket or a round trip?

I have just bought a round trip ticket too. The one way tickets are far too expensive.

By using consolodating sites like Mobissimo.com or Kayak.com you can sometimes get a better deal as they check all other sites like CheapTickets, Expedia and Orbitz for you. Sometimes a single ticket does work out cheaper, sometimes it doesn't. On January 10th this year I purchased a one way ticket from Chicago to London for $320. This was a 'White Label' flight, in other words the airline details are not given until you've bought the ticket (presumably because the airline doesn't want to be seen giving low cost deals) but by noting the departure time I knew I'd flying United and not some God-forsaken comedy carrier like Air India or some Russian job.

When I came on my K1 I bought a one way ticket with Air India and I have to say that the service was awesome! Not only was it a darned sight cheaper than buying a return, but there was free booze and the food was the best airline grub I have ever tasted! They fly regularly to Chicago but I don't think the arrival time fitted in too well with the Louisville connections, so Al drove to pick me up. Their excess baggage charges weren't bad either.

Mind you, that was a couple of years ago ..................................!

We found Aer Lingus to be pretty reasonable. If you are flying out of London and Virgin is a little more, I think it is worth it.

I found it cheaper to buy round trip, than a one way ticket. I just threw away my return ticket once i arrived in the states lol....

I flew US Airlines direct from Gatwick to Charlotte, NC for 512 pounds last year.

I use this site alot to check for cheap flights........ http://www.airline-network.co.uk/

Separated!!
