All our paperwork (DS 230 and I 1864) is "received" as of Oct 30th, according to the NVC automated message. I am HOPING for a miraculous case completion and interview scheduling this month, for an interview in December. Do you think this miracle could happen?

My wife's case was approved September 24th, missed the interview for November and have to wait another week to find out if there is going

to be an interview for Decemeber. The explanition was given to me by NVC was the the embassy was over loaded for Nomber.

This is what I have find on this site:

"The NVC makes appointments the second week of each month". It is a silly rule and practice.

I'm with the both of you I pray for my husband to have an interview in Dec, Our case was completed on June 14, 2007 and I still hear the recording "your case was completed on __________. Please Allow 8 weeks from this date for further instructions if it has been 8 weeks from this date and you have not received a response please press 0. The bible says a 3 fold cord is not easily broken so let's put our faith together and believe God for a miracle...... Keep me posted on your miracle.... in December.

Hi,

You will get your interview date if you call the NVC the second week of November. You will need to call everyday and will get varying answers as to whether or not you were scheduled. Ultimately you will get an operator who knows what they are talking about and voila, you will have your date. Be prepared for a date not very far in the future. You will have to rush to get the medical done. Hope this info helps. You can pm me if you have more questions.

Brasília, 7de novembro de 2007 -- O caixa do Citibank que recebe o pagamento das taxas de requerimento de vistos na Seção Consular em Brasília ficará fechado até 10 de janeiro de 2008.

Todos os solicitantes terão que pagar as taxas de requerimento de vistos em qualquer agência do Citibank, em Brasília, antes vir à Seção Consular.

Solicitantes que não tiverem pago as taxas antecipadamente não serão admitidos à Seção Consular na Embaixada.

A Embaixada dos EUA gostaria de informar ao público que todos os passaportes com vistos só são devolvidos aos solicitantes via Sedex.

Solicitantes não mais poderão retornar à Embaixada para apanhar seus passaportes. O envio de Sedex para a área de Brasilia custa R$ 13,00 que devem ser pagos no serviço de entrega de correspondências disponível na sala de espera da Seção Consular.

Passaportes de solicitantes cujos vistos são recusados são devolvidos ao término da entrevista.

Yes, I called early this mornning and since NVC has alreday send my file to the embassy on Nov. 9th, I thought maybe they have already

scheduled the interview. Hope all of get good news this week. Best wishes to all of you. Almost 9 months from start to finish.

Interview is December 11th!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Finally!

I have been so stressed about this whole seperation and immigration thing that I was diagnosed with diverticulitis! Supposedly one of the main triggers of a "flare up" of this is stress.

I'll probably need to be hospitalized by the end of all this.
