We got an interview!! 24 April!! Yay!!

I almost cried when she told me, lol

Congratulations!!

2004-09-03 : Met at college in USA and went on first date!

2008-01-02 : Married in Canada.

2008-01-07 : DH returns to USA.

2008-04-20 : Finally received marriage certificate from the province and filed 1-130 Petition.

2008-07-08 : I-130 Approved!

2008-09-15 : Received DS-230 and I-864.

2008-10-14: Mailed DS-230 and I-864

2008-10-30: DS-230 and I-864 received by NVC

2008-11-04: RFE

2008-11-18: Overnighted missing documents to NVC

2008-11-26: Case Complete at NVC!!

2008-03-02: Medical in Toronto

2009-03-23: Interview! Approved!

2009-04-04: The big move. POE: Blue Water Bridge. All went well.

2009-04-16: SSN arrives in the mail.

2009-04-24: PR card arrives in the mail.

Kinda disapointing to see no names on the bottom of that list have any interview dates scheduled. No interviews scheduled in Montreal(Minus Cndwife) Lets hope those names get dates soon!

Hey everybody waiting I just checked when I got my interview date and it was this day last month. So be ready as I had less than 3 weeks to my interview! I hope all the June group get to finish this

Me neither . . . at this point I'm assuming that Montreal has fallen behind even further and I won't see a December appointment. How it can end up taking them 3 months to get through the June case co

I got my DATE!!!

APRIL 16th!!!!!

they scheduled it today :)

Wow! Congrats! I am sorry that I missed this! My computer went down because of some spyware or something and I just got it fixed today. Have you went to Ireland yet?

Reena, Moosker and A&M- congrats on your fantastic news also!

This past Monday my husband got his medical done. (With the parking and vaccination he had to have it cost him 270$ CAD) He will probably go and pick it up tomorrow. It is weird to think that it's less than a month now til our interview. It's been such a long journey and we are finally almost to the end. Actually anyone on this thread has to be feeling this way because the longest part is the approval of the I130. I had 6 months and 12 days between my NOA2 and my interview, but that is because of the RFE that I got...

Thanks A&M... I'm so looking forward to join my hubby. I have my medical next week. I'll surely post the interview details so the others can be prepared. From what I've heard though it's a simple, basic Q&A session.

Hey all,

Looking for someone to point me in the right direction.

I'm starting to organize and pack my belongings. If my husband and I are able to pick up our visa the day after our interview, I'll go with him right away to Michigan and activate my visa. If not, my parents are planning on helping us get settled, so I'll go with them when my visa comes. They are pulling a trailer for my furniture either way- so if I'm not with them, what should they say at the border regarding all my belongings? Is there a web page that explains this "how to move your stuff to the states" process? I also want to know what information I should provide on my packing list.

For what it's worth, the operator at NVC that I spoke to said that they schedule after the 15th of the month for the next block of interviews, which would be 4 to 8 weeks away. It sounds like they say a lot of different things to different people. I have high hopes for next week!
