Congrats, ruriburi! Shiri have you called NVC lately to see if your interview has been scheduled? Just as a reference, I think I called on the 19th or 20th of December last year (had been calling every-other day) and found out it was scheduled for February.

I don't have an interview date, but I called today and the operator told me that they have not completed scheduling for January yet, so I should call back in a few days. I have been preparing myself for a February date, but *maybe* it will be January! Good news for those of us hoping for a Jan. date!

Yes, I have been calling everyday... They told me tonight that they were done scheduling for Jan and that I was not scheduled yet. Thank you for your advice, I will try to call on Fri or Mon to see if I have been scheduled. On your list, it still shows my first completion date of Nov 20, they changed my completion date to Dec 1. You don't have to update it if you don't want. That was my exciting completion date! lol Thanks for checking in on me btw!

Part of this is almost unbelievable. Can the interview really be Thursday??!!! Wow!

Not at Montreal really. I haven't heard of one person in recent history where they have offered to let the person pick the visa up on the same day. Maybe you saw this in relation to Vancouver interviews?

What determines whether you can pick it up or not - well that is completely up to the CO doing the interview. When my Husband had his interview, the CO said that if he was still going to be in Montreal the next day, he could come by and pick it up (he wasn't going to be).

So, no way to tell - if you would like to pick it up it doesn't hurt to ask the CO at the interview.

Oops, I looked back and I was thinking of adibiase - they picked up the following day. By the time I get to Montreal I will be more than happy to wait for my Expresspost delivery!! Fingers crossed that I can get posted on your timeline by March. Thanks for all the work you do to keep us all updated
