I feel bad for those of you still waiting. Looking at the time frames, I would think that no one will wait longer than around 155 days from date complete to interview since that seems to be the longest wait time. Even though that is a ridiculously long time, I think LGG should get an interview no later than mid January.

Either way, I'm still keeping my fingers crossed for all of you!

Kinda disapointing to see no names on the bottom of that list have any interview dates scheduled. No interviews scheduled in Montreal(Minus Cndwife) Lets hope those names get dates soon!

Hey everybody waiting I just checked when I got my interview date and it was this day last month. So be ready as I had less than 3 weeks to my interview! I hope all the June group get to finish this

Me neither . . . at this point I'm assuming that Montreal has fallen behind even further and I won't see a December appointment. How it can end up taking them 3 months to get through the June case co

Added thund3r - I took the dates that I could use from your posting - i'm using Sept. 11th as your completion date at NVC (it took 4 months to get from USCIS to NVC after your NOA2)?

So I just got some weird email... I had sent in a request to expedite about a month ago, and the NVC finally replied. After a MONTH!

Dear Sir/Madame:

Your inquiry has been received at the National Visa Center (NVC).

Please be advised, the NVC may begin expedite procedures for petitions

which have available visas 120 days prior to the beneficiary's 21st

birthday.

So, what exactly does that mean? Expedite doesn't need to be done because case is complete? That wouldn't make sense because the interview date is what's affecting it in the first place, the USCPA would apply if it was at the NVC, but it doesn't transfer over at the consulate (my understanding).. anyone have an idea what they mean?

mast3r12, I don't know enough about the 'aging out' part of the child citizenship act to make a really intelligent comment - but, my understanding of it is that if the petition was filed before the beneficiary turned 21 then they are still considered to be 21 at the time of the interview.

However, this kind of flies in the face of the blurb that Montreal sends regarding people about to turn 21.

As for your email from NVC - I have read it a couple of times - even tried reading between the lines - what they have said makes absolutely no sense to me.

I had send out the ds-230 and I-864 form on 11/11/09 and on friday i called nvc and they recieved my forms on 11/19/2009, if i don't get any Rfe's is it possible to have the case complete by end of the month. The way Grandma Montreal is going I'm hoping to have an interview by March/April.

does the co-sponser need to show asset if he/she is making well above the 125% poverty guide line?

I thought their income was enough to sponser, can you elaborate more on this.

See, this is where the disconnect comes from the NVC and the consulate. We had everything there and approved at the NVC level, but it wasn't quite good enough for the consulate. Even with the birth of my daughter, we were over the 125% poverty line without having to do anything extra. I think there must have been a misunderstanding somewhere -- I still took as much information to the consulate afterwards as I could get my lawyer to scan and email. The information I gave was requested by the guy who interviewed me who basically told me that as long as I can get that information back to him, he'll go ahead and issue the visa.

I waited almost a year and a half to get to that little room, there was no way I was going to delay getting him the papers he requested! I'm just playing the waiting game yet again, but at least I know it's a matter of WHEN and not IF.

Here is my story,

My Husband And I got married back in 2007. He was here in the states working. We had are son in April '08.

In March of this year my hubby went up north to get his visa and they told him no. They gave him only 30 days to get out.

We sold are house packed up all of are stuff moved it to my parents house and moved up to Toronto with his parents. I moved back with are son cause he was sick.

We filed are I-130 on May 29th. Nothing happened. When I got home I stated calling people in the gov. I called the senator and he started moving this alone. I just Filed my 84 thing, and now I'm tiring to get my Hubby to send me his stuff for his DS 230. I hope to have every thing in by Dec. 10 th so we can get in to the 15 or 23 time slot were the out your name in and it gives you an interview date.

I was talking to him last week and he had just got off the phone with Mont. and they are backed logged more then 700 people. We have gotten are cast Expedited cause of my son and that my hubby was the one making all the money. We have also found out that he could have stayed here and worked. This whole thing sucks big time and I'm sorry for very one that has to go though this.

My ? to all of you is. what dose hubby need to file with his DS 230 stuff?

Hi Trailmix, got message that my I864 was accepted, no issues, and just received the police certificate today so I hustled and got the DS-230 in asap (electronic filing)

Here's hoping that I have no issues and can get in line with everyone else for Mtl soon!

I completely missed your posting somehow, it would probably be better to start a new thread with something like this, anyway - documents you need to send with the DS-230 can be found here (in particular have a look at the documents from the Civil Documents link) and good luck!

September 2, 2012, RFE Received.

September 22, 2012 RFE responded to

October 15, 2012 ROC approved, 10 Green card on its way.
