Hey guys,

As some of you know, I am currently waiting the results of my CT scan, that I have had to complete as a follow up to the us medical (due to an abnormality on my chest x-ray... see link below for saga)

http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.ph...p;#entry1276641

Anyways, I was just reading over the copy of the medical report, and on the sheet called "Chest X-Ray and Classification Medical, Worksheet One", under section 3, the panel physician checked off boxes...

"No, applicant has no signs or symptoms of TB and:" "OTHER X-ray finding suggest follow-up needed after arrival"

Then, under section 5, it says...

"Follow-up Needed after arrival", check in the box "Yes, Not TB condition".

Does "follow-up after arrival" indicate my arrival into the States????

Does anyone know??

I had to have another X-ray plus a medical clearance from my family doctor. When I went for my Visa medical I at that time had a chest cold. My first X-ray showed a small touch of pleurasy in the base of the left lung

Dr. Doane called me 2 days later telling me that the cold I had appears to be a touch of pluerasy and he couldn't release that X-ray as a clear medical. He had me see my family Dr. and schedule another X-ray 2 weeks later. My Dr. treated me for 3 weeks to clear the pleurasy I had the X-ray again all came out clear and he forwarded the X-ray and his diagnosis to Dr. Doane

My medical was then all approved without any problems

thanks everyone :)

Allie, thanks for sharing your experience. After my medical, the panel physician told me that I was not required to come back, nor was I required to get any follow up tests done for the visa. He sent me a letter stating that he recommended I see my own doctor (for peace of mind), but that the abnormality on the chest x-ray should not delay my visa application. Sooo... fingers crossed, that is one less thing to worry about.

5 days to interveiw!!!
