June and July Filers - NOA2 to NVC

what a wonderful B-day Present (24 hrs in advance): I just found out that our case was sent to Panama on Dec 26 and that on Dec 28 Panama received it!! yay! I knew we started the new year awesome!! I'm so happy!!

Really? did you used to live in the zone? or the city? or u just visited a couple times? as you can tell by my timeline i used to live here but after high school my family moved back to the states and I decided to persue my university here. I'm currently in UF getting my PharmD degree....ohnly two more years to go!! finally I feel like I'm getting somewhere in my life....getting married and graduating soon, life is real good right now... hope the process is trating you well too and good luck with everything!

I was an exchange student to Costa Rica in 1978 and our exchange group from Oregon spent a week in Panama. I had a great time there...so many beautiful places to see :-) I lived a good portion of my adult life in Japan, but have traveled to many places in the world and most states in the US.

Im just wondering can anyone help us!.. We applied for i129f on 6/25/06 and we have still not heard anything from CSC. This seems ridicilous as, there are numerous cases filed after ours that appear to be getting Married now!.. What can we do to hurry this up a bit?..

Well I don't know about hurrying it up but you can certainly call CSC and find out what is going on...

On another note, Jeremy called DOS yesterday and apparently our petition hasn't reached NVC yet

2006? Well sorry to hear that I guess if you never even received NOA1 then your petition got lost in the mail and never reached them. Have you asked CSC if they at least received it? and good luck

Not offhand as I am in work but if you search through this thread I am sure someone has mentioned it a bunch including the options you need to select. If not then I know they are in the July thread somewhere recently I think...

Ok - well our case isn't at NVC yet and Jeremy said they were a lot easier than DOS:

Call 1-800-375-5283 Do you have your case number off the back of your check? If so, call using the RFE trick Prompts: 1-2-2-4-2-1-Rec't #-1(to verify)-1. You should be able to ask someone where your petition is and what's going on.

We prolly won't bother checknig again until next week now - know how slow CSC is getting these petitions moved!! NOA2 is a bit of an anti-climax!!

Our petition was received at the NVC at January 2nd...And they said it will be sent to the embassy either today or monday the latest

I was already prepared to wait a month or so ( from what i´m reading) , so I´m happy that it was sent that fast!!!

I am also July filer (July 10th sent) with NOA2 (email) received on December 19th. Does it really take a month to move to NVC (because of CSC) ?
