June and July Filers - NOA2 to NVC

I called the Manila Embassy yesterday to check the status of our K-1 case. If I understood the woman correctly somewhere on their website one can check the status of an interview schedule. So far I have been unable to find the correct link. Can someone direct me to the right place?

I got through to the NVC and was told it was only entered into there computer system on the 19th. I thought that sounded kind of strange and the person I was talking to didn't seem like they knew what they were talking about so I called again and amazingly got through the first attempt. Amy there told me it in fact was shipped the 19th.

I just knew yours had been sent out Let's hope the rest of this process is speedy and uneventful

1. How do I now track our progress moving forward -- to the NVC and onward? I've been tracking our progress to date on the USCIS website, but now that we have the NOA2 what's next?

2. How do you track "touches"? I see them noted in several posts; curious exactly what that means and where that information's found.

You can only find out if your case reaches NVC by phoning them. They should send you a letter when the case is assigned a new case number based on your embassy. Once the case is forwarded to your embassy and you have a case number you can make enquiries by phoning the Department of State

Press Option 1 then Option 0 to speak to a Visa specialist

Hehehe hi guys I have to catch up with reading cuz was away for a week but just wanted to write here first We found out we got to NVC on 21st and also left the same day so hopefully we hear something from the Embassy very soon
