I called in now at PST (Pacific) 8:06AM... and the computer system said there were "no immigration officers at this time"... I thought the hours were from 8AM - 5PM... what the hell?? mad.gif mad.gif mad.gif no wonder they don't approve anymore... it's because no one is there at the office... crying.gif crying.gif mad.gif mad.gif ... when it says you start at 8AM... you don't wander around and sit at your seat at 9AM... yeah, it takes lots of training (from other topics) to train them to do that... hahaha...yeah, right... overtime... the only "overtime" they do is on their breaks... I'm going to try and call around 8:15AM or so...

Gogo,

I know you're at the end of your patience to finally see an approval but no amount of hounding USCIS will do one ounce of extra good. They will approve it when they approve it :( It will probably only make you feel worse because of all the stress and anger that is building up from talking to useless people. If you are phoning up using the RFE trick, then remember that the person answering your call is stopping work on a petition (possibly even yours) while they are talking to you.

I think at this point, if you believe your file to be over 6 months, then you should get a senator involved and have them enquire on your behalf. Then let yourself relax for a few days while waiting for an answer from them.

As a few of us have already said, USCIS are giving the spiel that they are timing things from the NOA1 date, if that is true, then you may be doing this daily for the next 3 weeks... and that's no good for your health :(

Yeah, that's one thing I've learned from VJ.

My mom insisted that I call USCIS and she planted that seed in my wife's mind, so then I was getting hounded by her as to why I haven't called, while I'm trying to convince them that calling won't help or rush things in anyway, and that I was still under normal (delayed) processing times.

I do agree with that. If your shift starts at 8:00am, and you arrive at the office at 8:00am... you are late. Why? People get in, go make their coffee, stretch out, read and share the joke du jour, and then finally start working.

This is from the other forum topic stated above..

==========================

I just called in and they advised me to approval the I-129F or I-130?... which is better? She was saying the I-130 is better due to lower fees and same time now as K3...

They said they will send into NVC immediately once I write a letter to them explaining the delayed situation... I got someone's PASS (fax) number... once I fax my letter in, they will pursue whatever I tell them to send in...

Please advise. They said they will hold either one (the one I DON'T want them to foward to NVC)>>>
