I already responded in another thread, but here goes again:

Notice of Action is anything they send you. You got one, NOA1, Notice of Action receipt notice for both petitions. You should have gotten a Notice of Action Transfer notice for the I129F. The next notice of action should be NOA2, which is your approval. Hope you get that notice soon.

beats me... I thought they were doing security checks.. now she said "let me check your filing date -- did you file in April?".. I said "Yes".. she said "we are having computer glitch , like you heard before.. we will be able to process your case late this year , or early next year"... she said we will send you a notice of action... I already have ONE!!! what the goddamn hell is going on?? SHE EVEN VERIFIED I SENT MY I-130 IN APRIL!! that is so ridiculous.. so it's been over 180 days already... she told me to wait 30 days for the Notice of Action (I asked her if it was RFE, she said "no") to be sent to my address (she verified that too)...

Here's hoping we all make it to embassy and can score interviews before the holidays!

Pkewl, looks like we've swapped roles... as your petition got to the NVC first, it's now my turn to watch yours more closely hehe

No problem. U r most welcome to watch my case tracking.. anything I can do for a fellow VJer..

But u never know, you being in England, may take over the post-NVC phase after the petitions are transferred to local embassies since mine will be transferred to Mumbai, which I hear is one of the busiest embassies and hence it may take little more time than normal to process the packets and to get an interview date.., Not to mention.. We are approaching holidays so... Regardless of whoever gets it first, I will be happy for all of us once this process is over..

they said they are sending me a notice of action (didn't mean NOA2 though) within 30 days... their typical line.. Thanks for the two replies Urge to Race!

Hey, just got the mail! So what right? Letter from NVC was there, dated and postmarked Tuesday saying it will be forwarded within a week (the typical letter). Others receipted by NVC on 11/08 should be getting the same letter in their mailboxes and so should those receipted shortly thereafter depending on USPS delivery times.

Gogo, I was hoping that she meant NOA2, sorry....

they said they are sending me a notice of action (didn't mean NOA2 though) within 30 days... their typical line.. Thanks for the two replies Urge to Race!

I have a small piece of news to share. I just called NVC today and after taking my case#, the CSR told me that they will be forwarding my wife's K3 TODAY - 11/15/07. Again, they actually HAD NOT done it as of my call but I asked again and she repeated again that "Yes, it is schedule to go out today." This was about mid-day PST. Lets hope it happens.

On the other note, when I asked when can I expect the case to be at the local embassy to which she replied, we transfer cases electronically and via DHL so it shouldn't be long, maybe a few days. So, unless its embassy dependent, we do know now that NVC transfers K3 cases electronically and hard-copies.

Wuhoo! That is what I was waiting to hear, seeing that we got to NVC on the same day... I am hoping they ship mine out today too. I will wait to tomorrow AM to call.

Urge I have a question.

Does NVC send us a letter ( another NOA ) ?

I am asking this question because we have a unusual situation here .... My hsuband lives here in Brasil with me so We have a UPS store taking care of the mail and re sending them to us. By the way it takes a month or so to arrive here.

We called them and there are no mail from NVC in our box .. I am worried Now !

Yes, the NVC sends a letter to the petitioner's address. But it is nothing important really. It just says that they received an approved I129F from the USCIS and that they will forward on the petition within a week to the consular post, listing the post and address. It lists your MSC# from USCIS and your new NVC/Consular case number (which you already received over the phone, or can get over the phone if you haven't), and says the beneficaiary will receive further instructions . I just got mine in the mail today (dated and post marked the 13th even though the case was input on the 8th (the holiday weekend slowed things up).

Its more important that you follow up with the embassy to see if they got your case already since it was sent out on the 7th.....

Congratulations to all of you who got to NVC.

But as you can see, I am still at CSC. Yes, I did get the approval on October 30th, and the notice said my case was sent to NVC for processing....WHAT A LIE!!!! I called USCIS to see if they had sent it tp NVC and they said NOO. They told me they were holding it until my I-129F got approved!!! HOW CAN THEY DO THAT? They told me they just connected our petitions. Can this really happen? Can they connect our petitions after my I-130 was approved?? This is ridiculous...I am going nowhere. The person at the CSC told me she would inquire with an officer and call me back....YEAH right, I better sit and wait for that phone call, cause I might just get tired of waiting. I know that is not going to happen. I am very desperate and I don't know what to do.
