YGandMat, I hope you get a date soon! Does the Embassy use SEPOMEX?

Thank you Edp33, I check my mailbox everyday and nothing. I'm not sure if the embassy uses SEPOMEX, but most likely they do. From other VJ members who were also waiting for an interview in Juarez, it's known that the USC gets the packet first. I also know that the juarez embassy also has an addres in El Paso, Texas, so Im not sure if the packet will come directly from Juarez or El Paso.

It's been two months since we've been approved and one month since the embassy received it. I will wait until next Friday and give them a call.

Congratulations Gwen, it's great to hear your case is moving forwards again :D

A quick quesion to every one, in my I-129F it says valid from xx/xx/07 to mid of Marsh, does this date mean anything? and what if with our process through the embassy we haven't finsh untill that date?

Please help..

All the K3s are valid for the same time frame. The consulates/embassy's routinely extend the validity of the approval if your journey hasn't completed :) No need to worry :)

Thank you so much for the quick answer, I searched in the net, and I got conflicting answers, but I think I need to stop worring, but it's just that the Embassy is playing around with my head, keeps saying we sent you the packet # 3 and I haven't receive anything nor my wife, and my case has been with them for more than a month.

I have decided to have my wife go in person to embassy and get packet # 3 and fill out everything there and hand them back in a few days in person too,

But is handing them the filled forms in person a good idea? or not?

Also do we give the DS-156 with packet # 3 or at the time of interview?

and is it ture to make two copies of DS-156 and staple a photo to each?

please help...ASAP :help:

Took me a second to realize you are the other half of davejaz lol. Thank you!! You guys having it approved, along with Asmo restored some hope back into my miserable life. I didn't want to get my hopes up too much for fear that the USCIS will crush me again but WOO HOOOOO!!!

My VJ friends, we also have our appointment date on MARCH 3, 2008......we are soooo happy, and I started crying (of happiness), we will finally be together...were we belong. Our K3 journey is about to end...but we still have the looong AOS to go through!!!!

Congrats everyone!! Everyone is moving so fast now.. I'm still here waiting for my approval.. I'll get there slowly.. wish me good luck on February 21... that is the "ultimatum" date for me.. :devil: even if I lose, I am prepared to go back to China.. :blush: ... you know what happened today guys?? The senator office called me and said they received "9" of my faxes just recently and that they received it and there is no need to send more.. haha.. I finally annoyed the heck out of them.. This was Senator Feinstein's office.. she didn't help much.. she just sent a letter stating "security checks" are required for our country and there is no way to hurry them... HOWEVER, Senator Boxer's officer will come me look into the situation more.. but I have a date of 2/21/08.. so no need to send more faxes...
