Hi all,

I'm going to the local UPS store to get my I-134 notarized ($10 per signature). I'm wondering, how many originals do I need? I've seen some posts here that suggest 3. Two to the Embassy and 1 to my fiancee for the interview. Does this sound correct or does the Embassy need only 1 and my fiancee 1???

I sent Claudeth two but the second one was just a newer version of the first, nothing had changed on it.

hi darstar

You can get your I-134 notarized at the bank for free if you have an account with that bank, I did for my husband when we were doing then the K-1 and needed the I-134 notarized.

Best of Luck,

Mina

Hi Mina,

I've heard this from folks too. I have an account at BofA. I'll inquire, thanks!!!

Ohh you are welcome darstar :D

I have my account with Chase and anytime I need something notarized for INS I get done for free. Some banks will charge around $2 or $3 if you don't have an account with them, but it's a whole lot better then paying $10 a signature :o

I would get at least two. One to send to your fiance and one for you to keep just in case your package gets lost in the mail. I did three and sent two to James but the signatures were free.
