The interview is nov 9 and and my wife is going for her medical mon 29

she has no record of vaccinations and she is pregnant

will we have any problems with the medical exam?

Not a big problem but St. Lukes will not give the MMR vaccine if she is pregnant. You will just have to get the MMR vaccine later in the US.

To avoid potential delays with VISA approval, make sure St. Lukes and the embassy interviewers know that YOU KNOW she is pregnant.

What would be the best way to do that? To let them know I KNOW she is pregnant?

She can tell them if they ask. The St. Lukes staff can be a little "uppity" and tend to do things that are not technically their responsibility. When she tests positive for pregnancy they could ask her if you know about it. The fact that she is pregnant will be known to the Embassy CO at interview. If the CO suspects that you do not know (or even that you may not be the father), the CO could request a letter from you stating that you know about the pregnancy. The case I know about where this exact thing happened was a K1 though, and since you are married you probably are doing a K3 so maybe they aren't as picky.

My wife was pregnant when she went to her K3 interview and the Dr put in her report that x-ray was not appropriate because she was pregnant. When we got back to the US the CS filed out the vaccination report that it was not appropriate because she was pregnant. We had our baby 3 weeks ago and her AOS interview is next week. Hopefully they wont say anything about the vacinnations because she is breastfeeding. We will see.

Thanks, good luck with the immunization. By the way what is the AOS?

AOS= Adjustment of Status. We do not do that with CR1, just removal of conditional status 90-days before the 2 years anniversary from arrival.
