Hi All,

I filed K-1 for my fiancee this May and it got approved sometime late in August. My fiancee just received Packet 3 from Ho Chi Minh Consulate about 3 days ago. Actually she has to go to HCM consulate and pick it up herself. She called them and found out it got lost in the mail. They told her it was sent to her on 9/27/07. I have couple of questions I would like to ask.

1.) Can anyone tells me what she needs to send back to the consulate after she received Packet 3?

2.) When can she sends or brings these to the consulate

a.) Form I-134, Affidavit of Support

b.) DS-2001, Notification of Applicant Readiness

c.) DS-230 (Part I and II)

d.) DS-156

e.) DS-156K

f.) Visa photo

g.) DSL-1083K

h.) DS-2000

3.) What is the different between DS-156K and DS-156? If she fills out DS-156K does she has to fill out DS-156 also.

4.) Does she needs to fill out DS-230 Part I and II and when?

5.) When does she needs to bring or send her police certificate?

6.) When does she needs to have her vaccinations and medical done?

7.) How long do we have to wait for Packet 4 to arrive after she sends back Packet 3?

Sorry for too many questions. Thanks alot in advance. :)

When she has to send Packet 3 back just Form DS-230 Part I and Check list ( signed) only...

Other documents, she has to bring with her when her interview.

There you go, you take the rest to the medical then the interview good luck
