Hey guys, just an update. Mike got his police report and will be sending it to me DHL on Wednesday. Yeah!!!!!

Why is he mailing that one to you? He'll need it for the embassy interview.

JG, Jamaica is now an appointment post, so he has to send in all his documents to NVC (birth cert. marriage cert. police cert. passport biographic page and military records). They then will make the interview appointment and forward the info to the embassy and send him info about getting his medical done as well as the interview letter.

Oh, okay. That explains a lot.

Kind of sucks to have to do it that way. Feeling sorry for that.

NVC told me on 12/26/07 that my case was forwarded to KNG embassy. So, I figure even with all the holidays...KNG should get it by this week and send Ken his Pack by next week.

Ok, here's my question...I want to know if we can drop off Ken's DS-230 form when I am down there? Will that be too short of a time b/t them mailing it and me dropping it off. Will it be obvious that it is not the same form they sent out? I really want a late February interview date (because of 1800flowers job and Valentine's day)! Former Yardie VJ'ers have told me that they only schedule appointmentss for the next month within the first 2 weeks of the prior month. Can you drop off the form and get an interview date the same day??

I sent them an email, but no response as of yet. I am going to give them a call later. But, I was just wondering if you guys think that I would have a shot in hell of getting into the embassy to drop it off??
