Please i need a good advice. My conditional green card will expire on the 30th of January 2008, and i have not mail out the form yet, because we dont have any money for now. But i am thinking of mailing it out end of this month. I just want to know if its going to be late for me to mail it out at the end of this month. And when i mail it out at the end of this month, do i need to make an info pass, since the process of the application might take so long.

Here are the evident

My husband life insurance policy name me as the beneficiary

Medical insurance card

My husband employment benefit incase of death name me as the designee

We dont have joint bank account and credit card. Please i really need some advice if i will be okay with those. Thank you

Evidence looks good, no info-pass required.

You can send the petition to USCIS anytime in the 90 days before the green-card expire, that includes January 29th the day before it expires, though I would not recommend doing that.

You will get a NOA1 letter that extends the green card for a year.

Don't worry, you can file any time between Oct 30th and Jan 30th. In fact if you were to have filed already it would have been rejected for being too soon!

Thank you guys, but the problem is, my name is not in the house mortgage, and we dont have joint bank account or credit card account. I have mine and he have his. The utility bills are all in his name, none has my name. He said because i am not working yet. But i have a student loan, and also paying instalment to my school because the student loan that was given to me didnt cover all my school expenses. Do i need add those, because my husband is paying the instalment since i am not working. I am a student and a stay home mum.

One of the first things we did after my Wife got her SSN was add her to my bank accounts, I kept one checking account seperate for paying bills, but other accounts are now joint ones, why not do it now.

Don't worry about mortgage.

Submit things showing happily living to together.

For any concerns about mortgages, bank accounts, etc. write an explanation as to why. Good luck

Of course you're not late! You don't HAVE to file it 90 days in advance - that's just the earliest you're allowed to send it in. If you mailed it in on the 2nd January (or even the 22nd) you'd still be within the filing time...
