Canadians Visiting the USA while undergoing the visa process, my free advice:

1) Always tell the TRUTH. never lie to the POE officer

2) Be confident in ur replies

3) keep ur response short and to the point, don't tell ur life story!!

4) look the POE officer in the eye when speaking to them. They are looking for people lieing and have been trained to find them!

5) Pack light! No job resumes with you

6) Bring ties to Canada (letter from employer when ur expected back at work, lease, etc etc)

7) Always be polite, being rude isn't going to get ya anywhere, and could make things worse!!

8) Have a plan in case u do get denied (be polite) It wont harm ur visa application if ur denied,that is if ur polite and didn't lie! Refer to #1

I-485 application transferred to CSC – March 12th, 2008

Travel/Work approval notices via email – April 23rd, 2008

Green card/residency card: email notice of approval – August 28th, 2008 yippeeeee!!!

Funny-looking card arrives – September 6th, 2008 :)

Mailed request to remove conditions – July 7, 2010

Landed permanent resident approved – August 23rd, 2010

I knew it!!! :lol: It all adds up now. :idea: He tries to hide behind a thin veil of hostility but he's fooling no one. He never posts on the 27th of the month out of reverence to the number, he was crying not because the Flames made the playoffs but because the Leafs didn't make it, his favourite cartoon is Felix the Cat and his Lanny MacDonald jersey has a 7 on it not a 9. Even as we speak he's looking to move to a town called King of Clancy, VA. :lol:

lol, I have rooted for a lot of teams through out the years, even for the Bruins, BUT never the Leafs!! I think most Westerners just dislike Toronto,lol

Well, as long as it wasn't for the Flyers. :lol: When I was in Casper, there were lots of hockey fans and lots of Canucks. The Americans were Avalanche fans but the folks from the ol' country weren't Flames or Oilers' partisans but HABS' fans. I had no idea so many folks in Alberta were HABS' fans. The Leafs are without a doubt the worst run franchise in the NHL, period. If morons want to pay good money to see the Laffs get hammered, well...it's our money since the tickets are held by corporate interests in most cases and it is just written off as a business expense. :crying: The Laffs just fired Paul Maurice since HE wasn't winning enough, that'll teach him for not backchecking. :bonk: When I was a kid I'd hear how the felon Harold Ballard destroyed the Leafs' farm team system in the 1970s and lost Fuhr, Coffee and most of the players from the Oilers teams of the 1980s. Back in the 1990s, the Leafs and Cliff Fletcher were going deep into the playoffs year after year, so it didn't matter if our Pal Hal actually didn't sign Gretzky because he didn't want to pay a decent salary to him. I for one am glad that Gretzky never played for the Leafs, he would have never survived the insanity. Mom once went shopping and encountered the belle-of-the-ball herself, the lovely Yolanda Ballard. :help: When she told me, she was paler than Mats Sundin. :lol:

No full-time GM and no coach, better put on the sunglasses hockey fans because the Laffs' future looks bright. :crying:
