It is a good Thursday, and I like Thursdays because I get to go to our corporate office and see co-workers and the meeting then today I got to hang out and have lunch and BS for awhile before I had to come back to my office.

I am glad that it is a slow day and I can just relax and take it easy.

Since everyone is talking about pumpkin I guess I will have to stop and get a pumpkin pie from Marie Callenders since they are 5.99. Last night I went and got a bannana cream pie (that was my dinner) and a chocolate satin pie. Had to get comfort food for me and the kids.

I just back from the doctor and he is sending me for X-rays. He said I have an abnormal curviature of the spine. I was like WHAT????? I've never had any real problems with back pain. After he examined me, he said that my spine was definitely not normal. I do trust this doctor because half of our office goes to this guy. He did a complete adjustment and my neck and shoulders feel great, but the pain in my lower back is about the same.

I'm so very, very upset by this. I have had such good momentum working out in the gym and losing weight. I was about to drop a second size in clothes. I stepped on a toy of my little boy's a couple of weeks ago and really messed up my foot. It was the school bus that had these wooden pegs that people fit onto. Well I stepped on it full weight and then it slipped out from under me. I have really been limping with it and I'm sure not walking normally. Well, I added in a new machine yesterday that specifically targets the lower back. I did fine yesterday and early evening even after using the machine. But I watched a movie last night and laid on my tummy for a couple of hours. When I got up, I could barely walk and I couldn't bend over. Even after laying on my side all night, it wasn't any better this morning.

Jeez....I don't have time to be down in my back now. This freak'in SUCKS!!!!! :crying: :crying:

I used to work on Plenty of people that had a abnormal curviture in their spine.. a mild MS sorta thing. I'm assuming that this doctor was a Chiro.? given that you said he adjusted you?

Of course -- you are always welcome here (F)

WOM you have some explaing to do!

Haha just seeing how long before someone said something ;)

Maps are an interesting subject. Maybe you already heard about it, but Israel had a bigggg flap over maps this past year. You see, Israeli public school textbooks don't show the Green Line (the 1967 border) -- and they refer to the West Bank as Samaria and Judea.

Well, one of Israel's education ministers said they ought to change the books, saying "I want to show the students the reality we live in today and before 1967. Children who do not understand where the Green Line runs cannot understand the conflict in recent decades."

OMG this set off a FIRESTORM. Anyway the whole proposal was rejected by the Knesset so... the kiddos' maps still look something like this:

Now HERE's a realllllly interesting map:
