What's going on with Vermont

Does anyone know what's taking Vermont so long to process? I know, I'm getting antsy. This process is so frustrating and long, being in the dark, not knowing when you’re going to find out information, it can drive someone nuts. I've heard that calling to check status can delay your process and I surely don't want to do that. People that petitioned 1 month before me have already received their NOA2 in August and early September. You would think that if someone was 1 month ahead you would be the next month behind them, but here I am getting close to 2 month past them. I've been away from my love for 5 month and it's been such a struggle to be apart. Can anyone shed some light to how much longer this wait could be?
