Surprise me again,

while I'm fast asleep;

Come to my dreams,

make them blissfull and deep.

What can we do?

I wonder with delight;

Perhaps sit on the moon,

and count stars all night.

We can ride on a rainbow,

or dance on a cloud;

We can fly like the eagles,

that soar high and proud.

We can climb the pyramids,

or drink from the Nile;

We can walk in the desert,

then rest for awhile.

Your voice I can hear,

your hands I can feel;

and just seeing your face,

makes this dream so real.

I need to keep dreaming

about you, my dear;

It will lessen the pain,

of not having you near.

I just miss him.

I honestly don't know if my husband writes the poems he sends me or not but here is one of them.

Miss You

Did you ever say I love you..

And the breeze took your words away..

Did you feel them as they lingered..

Then slowly drifted on their way..

Did they journey long, searching for..

The distant love you hoped they’d find..

Was someone out there listening..

For words from heart and mind..

Did you ever hear I love you..

As the wind blew through the trees..

Closed your eyes and felt them there..

As they came quietly in the breeze..

Did you ever say I love you..

And hear it whispered in return..

Feeling your distant love beside you..

And the desire within you burn..
