Comments re:Ron's interview

I have a problem when reading others posts, when I try to add a decent reply it turns out to be about Sharon and myself especially if I see Sharon's and or my name or reference to us there or something just clicks a reaction and I am no longer comfortable with that because it takes away from the original posters intent to share their reviews, passions and frustrations. I would like to make pertinent comments to others posts but right now that does not seem to be the case or in my case not possible because I am presently to involved in Sharon' and my little corner of the universe.

To everyone that I managed to dull or take away from their joy with my posts within theirs I am sorry and apologize it was not my intent to do so. In time I will return to my senses and be more mindful of others and their emotional voyage through this same process.

Don't worry about it, Ron. I have never thought that you or sharon were bringing other people's posts down. What happened to you and sharon has been sad for us all and also taught us some great lessons we could learn from. I think as a little canadian community here, we feel for you deeply and I'm sure all of us will offer support in any way we can.

If you don't feel comfortable posting right now, that's okay. But when you feel you can again, please do!

I don't know you but I don't think you have to say you are sorry. We are all here to share and everything is personal and "touches home" because we are all going through the same thing, we are technically all in the same boat, even if our stories are a little different.

Sharing your side of a story is in no way a need for an apology.

I agrea with treble your experience is sad and no need to apologize

if anything it sure tought me a lesson to be on my guard and expect the unexpected be prepared for anything that could happen

so Ron and Sharon I dont think there is need for an apology, if anything even your experience is sad but I want to thank you for sharing your exerience, because I think it will help me to walk in with a better understanding on what the interview is all about and to be prepared for the unexpected

Hi Ron,

I second and third etc what everyone else has said. We all speak from our own experience when we post here. The fact that you and Sharon are having a tough go of this immigration thing doesn't take away from what anyone else is posting.

It's the same as if someone posts about getting their interview and the next post is someone saying they have been waiting 4 months longer. I don't see it as the person taking away from the original post - it's just the truth of the way this is. I think everyone knows when you post something about your experience you are just sharing what you know (which is valuable) and I don't think it takes away from whatever the original post was.

So keep on posting! While your visa experience may not be a smooth one so far, I'm sure it will be successful and we are all rooting for you and if you are down about it one day and you post like that or you add something about your experience that isn't fun - well that's just real.

No need to apologize...good grief that is what we are here for. We lean on each other when the times get tough through this whole process.....we all have big shoulders (virtual ones anyways). It is nice to come to this place to vent and just talk about what is going on with you to people who understand and maybe going thru it as well.

If someone thought you were being a "pain" then they just don't have to read your posts. I'm sure not everyone reads mine!! Even though I think I'm extremely intelligent and anything I write should be published and that it should be mandatory for everyone to read whatever I write....OK just kidding. Just my stupid sense of humor that is really only funny to me.

I do not know your whole story since I've been here a bit less time than some others, but I know you've been given a harder time than many of us have, and you've been happy for other couples when they've gotten their visas and frustrated for other couples when they've had to wait or confronted obstacles less difficult than the ones you've encountered. There is absolutely nothing for you to apologize for.

Theres no need to apologize. Everyone goes through frustration and anxiety. As the others have already said, you havent done anything wrong. We do appreciate your comments on here. You dont have to post anything if your not up to it. It is nice to hear from you when you do. I'm sure if I was in your situation, I would feel the same way. Hopefully things start to get better for you soon.

Ron, injustice anywhere is injustice everywhere. You were screwed over, period. You are not a downer, part of the reason for this forum is to provide motherly or fatherly commiseration and we all want to help, even if it is just to provide an outlet to vent.
