Just a moment to express my gratitude to those who offered advice along the road to getting a Visa. I found VisaJourney just over a year ago, when I began to think my NOA1 was not adequate. Actually I had no idea how inadequate, but I found out in a hurry esp after seeing this site. A special thanks to frequent moderators Chuck & Kim and other that have provided a balanced perspective & experience.

Today we received our Green Card, Our application was fairly uneventful. There was a small delay because we missed an appointment for final xrays. You can get an idea on that process time from our timeline. The card is good for 2 years & 90 days earlier we will again see what forms and fees are needed.

The best part is my wife is a better friend than I ever imagined. The wait, the effort and sacrafice has brought us closer. I can say is that if adversity causes you to draw together, that's a good omen. I am so fortunate to have her as my Ban Tram Nam. I hope your marriages are as happy as ours. (L)(L)(F)

Keep in touch. The journey has special memories with all who shared !

Congratulations and best of luck to you both, andrew va thuy. The great thing about the Vietnam side of VJ is the number of those who've already passed through HCMC that continue to stick around and offer experienced advice and guidance.
