missed sending paperwork after moving

I have quite a few issues that I am uncertain about for removing the conditions of my husband's permanent residency. I know they are very uncommon situations. However, we are currently not well-off financially. Does anyone know of any groups that offer free legal advice for immigrants? (If it helps to know, we live near Eau Claire, WI, about 2 hours away from Minneapolis).

I recently discovered that you need to let the USCIS know whenever you move- within 10 days! I had mistakenly thought this was only if the move were to be out-of-state. We have since moved twice, and are actually BACK at the same address we began... yet by not having sent in the paperwork, I don't want to jeopardize his! We did update his address through the computer (the first time being quite a few months after the fact), but never sent in the paperwork for mine (his sponsor), as by then we knew we would be moving again, and on that you have to specify when the move occured... Now I am scared they will think we were purposefully trying to pull something over on them, or not living together.

The other situation is that his visa was meant to be a 2 year conditional, and came as a 10 year. So I'm not sure if we are still meant to even do the paperwork to remove conditions, or what would need to be done.

If anyone knows about these situations, I would appreciate it very much, or if you have advice on where to find a good group or lawyer with reasonable fees, I would be much obliged!

How long have you been married? When was the greencard (not a visa BTW) issued?

You mean 10 year greencard?

"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the U.S. Government can’t pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government’s reckless fiscal policies."
