I was reading this tip found on this website stating;

"When you get the certified birth/divorce certificates and all the financial statements, GET 3 CERTIFIED

COPIES...that way you got real certified documents to submit, plus you have a copy for you and a copy

for your fiance...it just makes your whole life easier, and you don't have to worry about getting anything

back from anybody, you got it all and so does everybody else. ( I note, however, that you CAN submit

plain photocopies of certified documents, but you MUST have the originals if they ask for them, so if you

submit plain photocopies, then you MUST send originals or certified copies to the fiance for the

interview!)"

How do I get a certified copy of this? Also is this what I want to send with my K1 application? Are there any other certificates that I might need to send like this that I may be missing for sending in my K1 petition.

Thanks.

You only need original documents at the embassy interview.

GOOD idea to get at least 3 certified copies of any documents relating to your case for later on. BCs, Divorce, Death, etc.

For original petition you need the original G325As, I-129F and Letter of intent to marry.

Everything else can be copies.

K1 denied, K3/K4, CR-1/CR-2, AOS, ROC, Adoption, US citizenship and dual citizenship

!! ALL PAU!

I think the context of the remarks you quoted were for the intending immigrant's documents that need translation. See bolded above for how my reecomendation woud match that of Haole.

Does fiance need a original copy of my birth certificate when they go to the interview? What other things does fiance need in original form for consulate interveiw?

Each consulates requirements will differ... best place to look is the consulate website or the consulate itself...

FWIW, no originals of any document was required from me for my wife's interview in Kyiv.

YMMV
