Its been a 122 and we still havent got our NOA2, the estimate on the visa journey timeline says we should be get it around the 13th october though seems to keep going up daily. I called the USCIS yesterday and they told me that my petition is on the shelf, but could be anywhere from a couple of days to 2-3 months. Could this be true? will i really have to another 2-3 months or is it just protocol they tell everyone?

What have other peoples experiencing when they call?

I want our NOA2 already

Meh. The visa journey timeline date is just a guesstimate based on recent timeline data. It really shouldn't be used as more than that. Unfortunately, the USCIS person is right - they cannot give you an estimate when you'll be adjudicated, so the best you can go on are the rough estimates here and how current timelines are shaking out.

Be patient. Mine was approved in 141 days. On top of that CSC held it for another 3 weeks...and then NVC slept on that for another 5 weeks for AP and they finally woke up ans send digital package to the US Embassy. It is all part of a wider and brighter picture...you will see the bright light at the end of this long tunnel. Keep you morale up...we all are with you and GOOD LUCK.

I think 2 -3 weeks for you would be more realistic as last weeks NOA2s show earliest at 137 days with most between 140 - 150 days.
