The best way is to wait for the alloted time they give in the NOA2, wait for four to six weeks before calling the NVC I think. If after thos given period if nothing happens its time to call them. We planned calling them next week for the status of our case but today we receive a letter already. SO I think better be patient of waiting first. Thats my opinion.

I know I know...it´s just all weird. They say they are waiting for crates to be filled to send them off but then people who were approved after us already have their NVC number so that doesnt make any sense why our petition wouldn´t be put in the same crate with those too and when you call they just say they have no information. If they weren´t at least trying to mislead everyone with different info or no info then things wouldn´t seem that bad...

I couldn't have said it better myself!!!! Why is it so different for others? :wacko:

Okay mossycouple...I've settled down now... I will just be patient, and look in the mailbox everyday for letter from NVC. I really don't need case# yet. As long as paperwork is on its way to the Embassy... Take care..... :)

Hi everyone :) I've had jury duty and working lots, so this is my first chance to look at the thread in a few days. Nothing to report, was approved on 10/18, NVC does not have it and spoke with a supervisor at CSC...they have no idea where our paperwork is :crying::crying: So much for my NOA2!

Congrats to all those approved who got to NVC and out so quickly..I'm happy for you all and extremely jealous.

Hi u2rsobad, try not to worry. They are such idiots there, I can hardly believe it. I was also given the impression that my file was misplaced or something wasn't right and just a few days later it was mailed to the NVC. And when I called the second time, they said nothing was ever wrong with our case and that it was on the way, no problems. I'd call back again if I were you. They make you feel like you shouldn't call and bug them, but don't forget that we have every right to know what is going on with our cases. Good luck and keep us posted! I think you will hear good news very soon! :thumbs:

I've called many times...so many that I've lost track in my head, but I have the dates and times all written down. I told them I will continue to bug them until someone finds it or it's received by NVC. Thanks for your support (F)

Hey just wanted to fill everyone in on my recent successes on my k1. after csc losing mine I contacted my senator and everything moved very fast from then on. My app was sent in one day to nvc and after it arrived there in 2 days it was sent to Kiev. Kiev recieved it on 14 November and sent letter to fiance on 15 November. I called yesterday and scheduled interview for 4 December so my journey is almost finished. Good luck to all who are still waiting. It goes very quickly once arriving at NVC

15/08/2007 Called csc. told working on apps from 14/05/2007

Fianlly!!! After speaking to 3 supervisors at CSC, USCIS and NVC..they finally found our paperwork. NVC received it last Friday and it's leaving NVC for Tokyo today and I got my new case number. I'm so excited!! What a rollercoaster of emotions over the last few weeks, I'm so glad this parts over! Thanks so much to all of my friends here at VJ for your support!
