Okay you guys, the happiness from my approval is starting to wear off because I just called CSC and they said that I'm still in the staging area. I thought for sure since I recieved my approval on the 1st of November that I went with all of you on the 6th. Besides I got a touch on the 4, 5, and 6th, and nothing since then. WOW, I thought for sure I was on my way, do you think that they're telling me the truth. NOw I feel so bummed.......

Keep your chin up Rodgiegirl! It will get sent. It's frustrating when you have an approval already and it's just sitting there (ours sat there for 5 weeks!!) but after it got to NVC, we have our visa (as of yesterday!!) only 19 days later!! You're getting really close to the end of your journey so don't be too down!(F) Will not be much longer!

“Why do the righteous suffer?” someone asked C.S. Lewis. He replied: “They are the only ones that can handle it.”

Well, I finally got through to NVC after trying for 5 hours..still no record of receiving my case! :crying::crying: I called late last night and then kept trying today for better news, but no. I called CSC again this morning and they assured me it was sent out on the 6th. I told this to the lady at NVC when I finally got through, that tomorrow is 4 weeks from receiving my NOA2 and that people approved up to 3 weeks later than I, already have their NVC case numbers. She just said sorry, we have no record of your case. :(

Thanks, I just needed to vent with friends who understand my frustrations!:crying:

She said to give it up to 90 days to get there. HELLO???? 90 freaking days to mail something? Are they serious?

Hey Musicgirl, I was fed the same line when I called a few weeks ago, the lady was really rude about it too. As soon as I heard 90 days I just hung up on her. We are jerked around bad enough during this whole process I just can't bring myself to pleasantly accept a line of utter BS like that. I'm going to try and call again tomorrow maybe I'll have better luck. Hang in there we are all getting closer!

hi mike and beth im so frustrated!!! my fiance received approval notice last Oct.16 and till now the NVC didnt receive our petition my fiance called by the way and they said it took 90 days! hello we waited 5 mons to get our approval and now we have to wait another 90 days! thats realy sucks and frustrating!!! what we are going to do are we going to call CSC? QUOTE(Bill B @ Nov 13 2007, 07:16 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
WOOHOO!!! My fiance just turned in his checklist today and got his interview for next Monday, November 19th. If all goes well he will fly in on Wednesday, just in time for Thanksgiving! I can't believe it!!! Yay!:dance::dance:

Okay, there must be something about the 19th....check this out:

Florin officially proposed to me on April 19th, 2007

NOA2 approved on September 19th, 2007

Florin's interview will be on November 19, 2007

Our wedding date is January 19th, 2008

FREAKY!!!

That is awesome!!! very happy for you! CONGRATS!!!!!!!!!!

Hey GoharRabia, I called NVC today but still nothing. I will call back again later. It took the last group sent on Nov. 1 to be in the system by Nov 7, so I am hoping they will have us in their system today or tomorrow.

Did you call?

I did the automated system 2 times today and NOTHING! i'm sure this take a little longer to update.... I plan on calling this afternoon when I get home so they have a full day to work on it!!! I hope they have it!

I'm going to be on a business trip to ATL Wed/Thurs and not sure if I will have time to call those 2 days so I hope its today!!! At least I can try to get it off my mind for two days!!!

If you use the automated system you WILL NOT get anything. K-1's do not stay at NVC long enough to be entered into their system. You need to talk to someone to get any info.

Here are the prompts: 603-334-0700, 1, 5. They will ask for your WAC/EAC case number and other info. They will tell you when it got to NVC, when it left and your new case number.

Good luck!!!

You are right. Zee. This is a common mistake made too.

NVC does not enter K1 petitions into their automated system so you must talk to a customer service rep to get good info.

hi i would like to know what number to call to talk a customer service? its almost 30 days now and petition not yet arrive in NVC... please help what we are going to do

I'm sorry to hear that yours still isn't there yet. We were approved on October 29, and everytime I have called CSC, they have told me that there is no way to know when a case has been sent to NVC! So I have no idea how you and some others have been able to find that out. Please let me know if there is anything in particular.

They are not being honest with you. I called twice and was given a date both times. Many other people have called and have also been given a shipping date. Good luck if you call again.

Gosh mistybaby I know just how you feel right now! I thought the stress of waiting for CSC to send ours to NVC would kill me, it took us just over 6 weeks to get there. It sounds like you talked to the people in the call center, who you need to talk to is the CSC folks directly. They have no phone numbers listed and operators will not put you through to them. BUT, there is a way to get them on the line. I will repost it here since you might have missed it earlier in the thread.

Here is what I have. This was given to me by another member here. Hope this helps some of you, it worked perfectly for me.

Number 1-800-375-5283

your going to get an automated system...press 1,then 2, then 2, 4,2,1, then the case number starting EAC or WAC, then 1, then 1.

Tell them your inquiring about the request for evidence you got...its just a way of tricking them into telling you if the file is being touched..make sure you speak to a live person.

NOTE:--When I did this I didn't have to tell anyone I was calling for an RFE, I just asked my question straight away and the lady was very helpful, she had access to information the call center operators did not. Best of luck guys!

Give that a try and let us know what you find out. That is the method I and others have used to find out if our petitions had actually left CSC or were still in the staging area. Good luck to you, and try not to let all of this stress you out too much. It sucks but you will get through it.
