WOOHOO!!! My fiance just turned in his checklist today and got his interview for next Monday, November 19th. If all goes well he will fly in on Wednesday, just in time for Thanksgiving! I can't believe it!!! Yay! :dance::dance::dance:

Okay, there must be something about the 19th....check this out:

Hey you guys!! Sorry I've been away, I needed a huge break from my lap top, after like three weeks of looking several times a day for our approval. Now we have it, and I feel okay with getting online again, maybe this time I won't obsess about dates and forwarding.....So what's new around here??

Congratulations on your approval! :thumbs: The latest news is yet another delay for the NOA2 to go from CSC to the NVC with an average wait time between 3-5 weeks. :wacko:

Congratulations to both of you on securing an interview date. For sure, both of you will have a lot to be thankful for this thanksgiving. Hopefully, we will get our own interview date and day now. Good luck at the interview and looking forward to hear you say Florin got his visa in hand so we can all celebrate with you guys. :thumbs:

Hey: my approval was on 11/6. I had a touch on 11/7 and another one on 11/11 (Sunday?). Anyway, I called on Friday (the 9th) to see if the touch on the 7th could possibly mean they sent my petition to NVC. I got a really nice officer and she said CSC still had it. but now I have this touch from 11/11. Maybe I'll call later in the week and see if it possibly has been sent on to NVC> Can only hope-----the optimistic and always patient Alane & Ramzis :innocent::innocent:

Hey GoharRabia, I called NVC today but still nothing. I will call back again later. It took the last group sent on Nov. 1 to be in the system by Nov 7, so I am hoping they will have us in their system today or tomorrow.

I got a touch on the 9th from the call I made to see if mine was really sent out on the 6th, but nothing from NVC...they still haven't received it yet :( Apparently mine's in the bottom of a new crate they started with those that were approved for a few weeks after me. Let's just hope they log them in and get busy :)

I did the automated system 2 times today and NOTHING! i'm sure this take a little longer to update.... I plan on calling this afternoon when I get home so they have a full day to work on it!!! I hope they have it!

I'm going to be on a business trip to ATL Wed/Thurs and not sure if I will have time to call those 2 days so I hope its today!!! At least I can try to get it off my mind for two days!!!

Yoohoo,

here is the end of the tunnel for us. We let the Bern, Switzerland, consulate honor the veterans and we called them this morning. Nice people, they received our file and our interview is scheduled for November 26th, at 11am!

Since we have everything (medical..), we just need to fill out couple more papers, bring everything and that should go fine.

Sibylle found a round trip from LA, since we have been together for 3 weeks already, to Zurich for $670, will stay 10 days to finalize the last things and we can get married before Christmas!!!

If you use the automated system you WILL NOT get anything. K-1's do not stay at NVC long enough to be entered into their system. You need to talk to someone to get any info.

Here are the prompts: 603-334-0700, 1, 5. They will ask for your WAC/EAC case number and other info. They will tell you when it got to NVC, when it left and your new case number.

Hey GoharRabia, I called NVC today but still nothing. I will call back again later. It took the last group sent on Nov. 1 to be in the system by Nov 7, so I am hoping they will have us in their system today or tomorrow.

I did the automated system 2 times today and NOTHING! i'm sure this take a little longer to update.... I plan on calling this afternoon when I get home so they have a full day to work on it!!! I hope they have it!

I'm going to be on a business trip to ATL Wed/Thurs and not sure if I will have time to call those 2 days so I hope its today!!! At least I can try to get it off my mind for two days!!!

If you use the automated system you WILL NOT get anything. K-1's do not stay at NVC long enough to be entered into their system. You need to talk to someone to get any info.

Here are the prompts: 603-334-0700, 1, 5. They will ask for your WAC/EAC case number and other info. They will tell you when it got to NVC, when it left and your new case number.

Thanks Zee! I did not know that! I sure hope they send it out quick! I can't believe my case still hasn't made it there yet! its been over a month but there are others in the same shoes!! wish they would hurry it up!!!!! Will call them here in about an hour! talk to you all then!

12 - 14 - 07 -- US Embassy Received Packet 3.5

01 - 17 - 08 -- Received Packet 4 (Medical & Police Report)

03 - 25 - 08 -- Interview Date - Complete

03 - 27 - 08 -- Case transferred to US, AP begins

07 - 29 - 08 -- Mailed Passport for Visa (Approx. 4 months)

08 - 07 - 08 -- Visa in Hand :-)

09 - 13 - 08 -- Flight to JFK
